Hi. What if i need to end existing conversation and create new one with the single button push? [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - jboss ide 2.0.0beta2/ eclipse 3.3.0 build I20070222-0951/Vis

I am having to run eclipse 3.3 because it seems to be the only one that works well with vista, so i had to then upgrade to jboss ide 2 as 1.6 does not work in this version (change to how they do the config page) The one thing that i can't see how i do it is remote debugging. under 1.6 i could do remote jboss debugging, this option seems to have disapeared in 2. Ed, We may have worked together - I haven't worked in Nashua, but I have worked with many developers from Nashua over the years in Boston and some of the the other surrounding towns. What are some projects you think we might have been on together? On the jBPM stuff - I see now why you disagree - I am coming at the problem from the other direction (i.e. opposite the 'commone use-case'): - I have a task that is assigned to an actor initially -- A timer wakes up and if certain conditions are not met, the task gets moved to a pool of actors consisting of the original actor and someone else - I incorrectly assumed all I had to do was add a pooled actor to the task and then the task could 'easily' be found for presentation in both users' work queues. -- when this assumption proved to be incorrect and then I had to dig deeper into the jBPM system - that's where my frustration arose. The environment already has as set-up running using Business Objects and the possibility of whether jboss portal can integrate it with needs to be explored. I am not finding any docs regarding this. [JCA/JBoss] - TransactionLocal: How to use it?

Hi. Sorry to ask such a trivial question here but is there anywhere any more documentation on the TransactionLocal object? I could not find anything more than the API doc. No example or anything. Actually I am trying to use that object to obtain a reference to an Object within a transaction no matter where I am in the current call stack. From my observations so far I found out that it would not work for that pupose as you have to have the same TransactionLocal Object in order to get your data back. Is that the way it is supposed to work? Thanks in advance again. @Ed Thats how I interpreted it to, but a public forum is different from paid support, anyone should know that, and being a committer is yet another subject.... that's why I was surprised. @Everybody People should take more time with an initial post, don't assume the reader has the same context as you has (hmm... I see a link to http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html cumming up again.. @Brad: If you would have initially posted what you posted now, I would have agreed with you to a large extend. I even mentioned this to Tom a few months ago that this part of jBPM needs some refactoring. It realy does.... At least the names of some methods, variables etc... I agree with Ed that the implementation is correct.
