[EJB/JBoss] - Re: IIOP deployment problems

As a follow up, this was caused by problems with dependencies that caused classloader problems that resulted in no orb instance being found from within the app. jboss-iiop.jar was being incorrectly included in the ear. So, the classname to use was in jndi, but the factory returned null. Fixing my broken dependencies for the ear resolved the problem. [JBoss Seam] - SEAM Tesing

We are trying to start using SEAM tests. Our application is using a Message Driven Bean and during the test phase of installing the components we have an exception saying that the default JMS provider could not be found. I guess we need to somehow mock up the JMS service. Is there a way to do that or we should provide a real JMS service? [JBoss Seam] - Singe Page Application and Conversations

I have an application that is composed of a single page with many different views and popup actions executed via ajax. I am currently using a long-running conversation per page. The page can be open for hours at a time so one conversation can last 4h+ with many different unrelated popup-actions executed in the same conversation. I believe this is not the best way of using conversations. What would be better for my use case? Whether you set the system property programatically or on the command line, it will be set for all Remoting clients and servers in the JVM. Currently, this is the only option. I've created a JIRA issue JBREM-764 (http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBREM-764) to make the wire format configurable per client or server. In the meantime, one workaround would be to fiddle with the telnet client. [Beginners Corner] - Debug JBoss Server doesn't enter to jsp backing beans' break

Good morning. I'm using Jboss 4.0.5GA and Eclipse. When I start debugging, the debugger doesn't stop on the JSP backing bean's breakpoints. Debugger skips all of them and it just recognizes the breakpoints of the bussiness and persistence layers. I verified the .war file includes the backing bean classes. Besides, log server doesn't show anything related with this issue. Everything is Ok. Any setup process is missing? Anything related with the embebbed tomcat in JBoss Server? Thanks a lot.
