[JBoss Getting Started Documentation] - Re: Can't build using ant

Thank you all for helping. Firstly it is written in the documentation that I should download and use the downloaded ant version: http://labs.jboss.com/file-access/default/members/jbossas/freezone/docs/I... Secondly after running the batch file from the build directory (in cmd) I get the SAME errors. Maybe something else is wrong with my configuration? But shouldn't the build.bat set all the variables needed? Regards, Leonid M. I spent sometime on this, i can see where the problem is. I deployed the changed code in JBoss jar and was able to get my application deployed. Also, tested this change with an archived deployment (to make sure i did not break any existing behaviour), even that deployed fine. Usually you don't want to just truncate data. I'd recommend to use @Length(max=100) (then you don't need length=100 in the @Column annotation) - this way you could easily validate the input data. The same difference as a load() or get() in Hibernate: load() will throw an exception when the process definition is not found, get() will return null.
