One quick tip - please try to type "CTRL+SHIFT+B" (or CTRL+ALT+B? I don't remember.) It will show you some nice breadcrumb. Dear Remoting guys, Now that Remoting 2 has reached a certain degree of stability, I'm starting to play with Remoting 3. This seems like a good place to post my dumb questions, in case someone else has the same problems. 1. After running the "all-fetch" ant target, I still had to add the following additional jars to the classpath to get org.jboss.cx.remoting.samples.simple.JrppBasicExampleMain to run: * jboss-common.jar * log4j-1.2.15.jar * slf4j-api-1.5.2.jar * slf4j-log4j12-1.5.2.jar * trove.jar What am I missing? 2. I'm getting the same generic type complaint that Trustin mentioned in topic "A compilation error in AbstractTypeMap, R3" (http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=128869). I tried to Remote conenct JBoss AS, but unavail ( cannot see JMX console). I already turn-off fire wall on both sides. Do I need to add port (8080) even turn-off firewall? [JBoss Portal] - loadScript issue with richfaces + portlet

Hi guys, not intending to cross post here but I had an issue I tried to resolve vis the richfaces group, until I determined it wasn't really a richfaces issue. Basically I had a portlet that did this: <a4j:loadScript src="functions.js"/> using JBP 2.6.5.SP1 and the latest bridge. My script was never included, and finally I removed the portal from the picture and it started working. So something about funneling everything through the portal was breaking loadScript. Please take my word that I tried every combination of relative and absolute paths, resource paths, etc. to no avail. Anybody have any insight? My fear is this is some sort of a cross API issue (richfaces/sun RI/facelets/portlet bridge/portlet/etc.) and not as simple as an obvious bug in one API.
