The URL "http://localhost:8080/jbossws/services" can list the Registered Service Endpoints in JBoss, does anyone know which MBean have this function? What the hell, I re-started my PC and everything works fine. I suspect the %JAVA_HOME% has not taken effect yet, thought I open another command shell.I think I need to report to JBoss bugzilla. Yes I can help now. I have got content assist working (to a reasonable level) by doing the following. 1. Write an XSD for your custom tags. 2. In Eclipse go to. Window -> Preferences-> Web and XML -> XML Catalog. 3. Add a new entry using your tag namespace and pointing to your xsd file. Now you should have content assist (at the moment this does not give me the actual tags themselves, but once I have opened the tag it will give me attribute content assistance). jamicide, are you sure you need 3GB of heap? Graphing the results should help you determine that. No sense using more memory that what you need. tsmets, I wrote a simple Java app that uses a regular expression to gather the verbose:gc data and convert it to a CSV file. I then read the CSV file into a spreadsheet app (Excel or OpenOffice.org Calc) and use its graphing features to chart the results. Peter, You seem to use custom made tool to analyse the GC. At least it is what I can gather from the graphs in the slides and from the fact that you indicate the regular expressions to parse the GC vs FullGC. So my question is what is : Do you use custom made tools or tools like jvmstat ? [JBoss Cache: Core Edition] - GenericTransactionManagerLookup Confussion

Our app is running in tomcat 6. I am trying to set up the transaction manager in Jboss Cache. I am getting the 2008-07-24 19:38:34,315 ERROR [main]org.jboss.cache.transaction.DummyTransactionManager - binding of DummyTransactionManager failed javax.naming.NamingException: Context is read only error which I know is because Tomcat's JNDI is readonly. Can the GenericTMLookup be used without it trying to load the Dummy guy which I know is for unit testing? 1. What is the right way to do this? 2. Do I need the Transaction Manager? I want to run READ_UNCOMMITTED and REPL_SYNC I am having trouble from Jboss Doc trying to figure out the right way to implement this. Thanks in advance.
