Kevin Moodley [http://community.jboss.org/people/kevinmoodley] replied to the discussion "jBPM 4.4 How do I force a process instance to end" To view the discussion, visit: http://community.jboss.org/message/555086#555086 -------------------------------------------------------------- I am basically using a modified version of your concurrency example (attached) but I make one of the forks take an ERROR transition and then try to force the process instance to end via : processEngine.getExecutionService().endProcessInstance(pid,ProcessInstance.STATE_ENDED); This works fine unless I have an <on event="end"> on the jPDL. In this case an event is fired, after the process ends, to handle the on end event. But this results in a null pointer exception because there are no more activities or transitions at this point. UserCodeReference.getProcessDefinition returns null. [JBoss Web Services] - WS-Security usernameToken

I'm new to jboss and jee. I realized one ejb3 and a webservice (another ejb) to communicate with it from a php page. I deployed it and all is good! GREAT. Now I need to authenticate this webservice (I don't whant that all the world can use it). What do you think about the "yahoo api webservice auth" mechanism? Is it possible to have something similar in jboss? I searched about WS-Security and found usernameToken auth, but how can I implement it?? I Can't find one good tutorial, and I surfed the net all day long. Do you know one good tutorial? Are there some other auth mechanisms? Forget about basic authentication, i must have as security as possible. I'm using jboss AS 5.1.0. Remember that i need to call the webservice from php and I have a class for Ws-Security (from phpClasses). Thanks in advance and sorry for my English! Given you're using the current trunk, also checkout jbossws-metro trunk, install it (see http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossWS-BuildingFromSource http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossWS-BuildingFromSource ) and you should be ok. Generally speaking, the jbossws releases come in 3 different flavours (cxf, native and metro stacks). (By the way, during the process the job entry has been automatically removed from jbpm4_job table though.) In the same process, if change the timer's node "generate-file" to the following, then it works (i.e. it reached the "remove-file" node): <state g="222,123,147,40" name="generate-file"> <on event="start"> <event-listener> <field name="msg"><string value="entered the (generate-file) state node."/></field> </event-listener> </on> <transition g="-71,-15" name="timeout" to="remove-file"> <timer duedate="10 seconds"/> </transition> </state> Why it does not go to the next node if use the "timeout" event handler and how to make it work ?
