Daniel Zhelyazkov [https://community.jboss.org/people/dzhelyazkov] created the discussion "Re: EJB 2.1 BMP with CMT and RequiresNew in JBoss AS 7.1.0 Final" To view the discussion, visit: https://community.jboss.org/message/728546#728546 -------------------------------------------------------------- Fixed my problem, after debug session of JBoss code it turned out that the code that parses TX attributes produces wrong info. we had the folowing in ejb-jar.xml <method> <ejb-name>SomeEjb</ejb-name> <method-name>*</method-name> </method> ... <trans-attribute>RequiresNew</trans-attribute> Specified like that JBoss set default TX attribute Required to all LOCAL_HOME methods (ejbCreate/Find/Select/Home) and RequiresNew to all Bean methods such as toString(), hashCode()... by adding <method-intf>LocalHome</method-intf> <method> <ejb-name>SomeEjb</ejb-name> <method-intf>LocalHome</method-intf> <method-name>*</method-name> </method> all went to normal, my ejbCreate() started new transaction, and getProperties() method did not use TX interceptor. I have a jBPM process with a Human task, I'm always able to process the human task but, sometimes, the flow is not forwarding further. Without any exception the flow stops there, other tasks following the user task is not getting executed. How can I fix this problem? Just one comment about point 3, you could use session template config file to register handler, event listeners etc, check out http://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/v5.4/userguide/ch.console.html#d0e4698 documentation on this, might be easier to work with console. But jars with custom classes must be placed within console-server.war as you described. This is using an application where a resource-adapter (not from JBoss) is deployed and the resource-adapter doesn't support shared connections. I uploaded the bpmn to guvnor and built the package. I can see the process in the jbpm-console, but when i try to start an instance, and click refresh so that i can see the running instance, it gives me the following error in the logs: ERROR [org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper] (http--127.0.0.1-8080-2) Timeout trying to lock table "PROCESSINSTANCELOG"; Is there a step i'm missing? maybe a persistence configuration change somewhere?
