[Beginner's Corner] - JBoss, Maven, DataNucleus - next steps

I posted https://community.jboss.org/message/831214#831214 https://community.jboss.org/message/831214 and got the basics working. The database is fully functional and I can do things using old-school PreparedStatement/ResultSet setups. However, I am stuck on the next steps. For my *playtime-ear* module I created: * src* main* resources* META-INF* jboss-deployment-structure.xml * ra.xml * jdopersistence.xml I build and deploy with no issues but am having issues with getting the suggested following code: PersistenceManagerFactory pmf = (PersistenceManagerFactory) context.lookup("java:/testMeDS"); PersistenceManager pm = pmf.getPersistenceManager(); There's a few questions I have now: 1. What is the proper dependency I should have in my POM for this? 1. Generic JDO (which seems preferable) or should I go with DataNucleus specifically? 2. Currently using: http://www.mvnrepository.com/artifact/javax.jdo/jdo-api/3.0.1 http://www.mvnrepository.com/artifact/javax.jdo/jdo-api/3.0.1 2. When I try to access my new setup as listed in the code above, I'm not seeing it (+NameNotFoundException: testMeDS+) - why not? 3. Are the 3 files I created actually necessary for my META-INF? Am I missing any? 4. Do I need to actually deal with the rar file as mentioned in https://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-17094?_sscc=t Step 5? If I'm deploying via Maven it doesn't seems like it +should+ be necessary. I can't find too much doc online bout going through this with Maven that's for extreme n00bs like me. The application starts up fine and I am able to login to the application. I would like to know how I would create a new BPMN 2.0 process using the KIE-WB user interface. FYI, I have created a sample project and a package inside it. I am also able to create a DRL item, but not an BPMN2 process item. i.e., when I enter the details like process name and click on OK, nothing happens and the screen stays as it is. I have attached images that shows the screens that I am talking about. Please let me know if I have missed anything, for example: user permissions and such. If someone can point me to the documentation/usermanual for KIE-WB, that will be very helpful as well. Thank you! [jBPM] - Error starting process instance - getting HTTP 500: Unknown error

I have attached a custom work item handler to the task ( CustomHandler.java) . I have been able to successfully commit the bpm file into guvnor and compile the package. The Jar file is copied into \jboss-as-7.1.1.Final\standalone\deployments\jbpm-gwt-console-server.war\WEB-INF\lib\ folder. When I open the jbpm console ( http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console/ http://localhost:8080/jbpm-console/ ) i can see the process listed , but when I try to click start the process it errors out with the following msg : server/rs/process/definition/com.sample.bpmn.sampleHTformvariables/new_instance 2013-07-31 16:23:37,610 [ERROR] <ul><li>URL: ' http://localhost:8080/gwt-console-server/rs/process/definition/com.sample... http://localhost:8080/gwt-console-server/rs/process/definition/com.sample...' <li>Action: 'org.jboss.bpm.console.client.process.StartNewInstanceAction' <li>Exception: 'class com.google.gwt.http.client.RequestException'</ul> HTTP 500: Unknown error com.google.gwt.http.client.RequestException: HTTP 500: Unknown error When I replace the Task with a User Task , the process starts without any issues. I would appreciate some assistance on this , have been dealing with this issue for the past few days ! [jBPM] - jBPM clone, compile and deploy

Did a git clone from NetBeans, project "Drools and jBPM build bootstrap", performed a build, consequently, all dependencies downloaded, then build sucess. Then opened "UberFire Showcase WebApp" maven project, tried to deploy to JBoss 7.1.1.1 that launches from NetBeans, run failed with this error: JBAS014775: New missing/unsatisfied dependencies: service jboss.naming.context.java.jboss.resources.ErraiService (missing) dependents: [service jboss.naming.context.java.module.uberfire-webapp.uberfire-webapp.env.ErraiService] 19:12:22,711 ERROR [org.jboss.as.server.deployment.scanner] (DeploymentScanner-threads - 1) {"JBAS014653: Composite operation failed and was rolled back. Once you have always dedicated environment for single execution you should get rid of concurrency issues. Although this might not be the case for you. [jBPM] - saving instances of processes waiting for message

We have 10-20 scenarious(processes) and ~2 000 000 users. So, i made test and i see that jBPM5 stores instances of BPMN processes, wich waits for catching intermediate event, in RAM. For support considerations, I have to find the source code of this version. I managed to find the source code of multiple beta versions of hibernate-tools-3.2.0 but I can't find the one I want. Only the binary jar seems available. Are the sources for the version 3.2.0.ga still available somewhere ? or does the hibernate-tools-3.2.0.ga.jar is compiled from one of the beta version ? [Datasource Configuration] - How to configure Oracle Datasource (oracle-ds.xml) for FCF (Fast Connection Failover) for Oracle RAC?

This essentially involves including ons.jar, and setting properties on your datasource. I believe Tomcat datasource there are specific params you can set, like as follows: <Resource .... ... ONSConfiguration="nodes=rac1:6200,rac2:6200" fastConnectionFailoverEnabled="true" implicitCachingEnabled="true" .. /> I am not able to find any example or documentation on how to do the equivalent thing for JBoss Datasource.
