[JBoss Portal] - HOWTO use Log4jService in portlets

How can I use the log4jService to implement logging in my portlets without using the server.log, defining a new log file inside my webapp. I am trying to use my own file with FileAppender() but its huge cause it is logging all the debug info in my new file, not only the INFO messages of my portlets. Can i disable this behaviour, in jboss conf/log4j.xml configuration debug is set to false. so who can this be done? thanks all! Hi Heiko, I've just taken a look at the code: it seems to me that the patch at the SubscriptionManager's dispatch method could be done, validating the received element against the right notification schema from eventSourceMapping. However I noticed that notification schema is currently always set to null in the JSR109MetaDataBuilder; it seems the wsdl is to be parsed here to get the xml schema of the message... am I right? May be we can help you... Anyway, artem_spector, you could nevertheless validate the message in your server application, before dispatching it to the jbossws engine, since you're supposed to know the notification schema there, don't you? [Clustering/JBoss] - Service locator in clustered JBOSS

Hi, How do i construct my Service Locator if the application is deployed in more than one cluster? Lets say, I've two cluster partition "PartA" and "PartB" Each has 5 nodes. PartA hosts my one component of the application and PartB hosts the other part of the application. what's the best practices to implement the inter component communication across cluster? Hello, same problem here since 4.0.5.GA. We have configured @ActivationConfigProperty(propertyName="maxPoolSize", propertyValue="1") because we need a singleton MDB. What is the right way to solve such issues? There is no property 'maxPoolSize' in the class JmsActivationSpec in 4.0.5.GA and not either in 4.0.4.GA, where the MDB is working well. So, something has changed, but what? [JBoss jBPM] - jbpm engine as a jar

I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE JBOSS FORUMS AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT. THERE IS A FOLDER CALLED "PORTAL-FORUMS.EAR" THAT HAS INSIDE IT THREE FOLDERS AND A .JAR FILE.
