How can I subcscribe to JBoss AlarmTable update notification? The reason behind is that i want to run my custom MBean to listen AlarmTable updates and handle them appropiatly then remove them from the table. Is that possible? Second question I have is to override how log4j writes to AlarmTable by replacing the org.jboss.monitor.services.JMXNotificationAppender with my custom appender. But When I do that nothing is being logged to AlarmTable. Basically my Appender is duplicate of the JMXNotificationAppender except it filters exceptions. Any ideas? You will need to switch JBoss Cache to DEBUG level and JGroups to INFO level logging and look at the startup log to ascertain why the nodes don't discover each other. Which OS is this on? Actually, that is the plan: when node C detected the merge, it would exit with a status code of 10 thus causing a restart of JBoss. C would then join the cluster as a new node. That part of it WAS working. When I commented out the MERGE2 entry in the xml file, it stopped the cache from merging just like I wanted but it had the unwanted effect of no longer sending the merge event. So node C no longer restarts. You see, I used the merge event to tell me that the network was reconnected so that the node could restart itself. Is there some way to still get a notification (of any kind) without merging the cache? The 'application.xml' file is generated by ear plugin so I don't have to put it in the src directory. The 'web.xml' file is in the dvdstore-war/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/ directory as required by the war plugin. For using container managed transactions look at EJB3.0. Your business controller logic looks simple and the transaction is managed by the container within which your bean runs. I am trying to use jboss-portal-ha.sar in the All server with Ejb3 installed. I have a bean that accesses the portal:service=CMS mbean to add content to the repository. It works in the Default server, but get the following exception in the All server. Any ideas? [The Lizzard's corner] - Never recieved my certification

Hi all, In may of this year I took and passed the JBOSS certified administrators online certification exam. I recieved my results/confirmatiuon email on 05/12/2006. To this date I have not recieved my certificate. I attempted to call the JBOSS numbers listed on jboss.com but they do not connect you to a real person without knowing their last name. [JBoss Portal] - Re: How to show my JSP page in a portlet.

I thought that the IFrame Portlet would use preferences to set the URL to display, but it doesn't. So it looks like theo nly way to do what you wnat (change it once for all users), you will first have to modify the portlet source to use preferences to read the URL. Once you do that, you can set the URL globally for all users on the Instances view in the Manegement Portlet. If I have a few minutes available in the next couple of days I could make this change (I'm swamped today).
