[JBoss Messaging] - Re: Old JMX Class files in jboss-messaging-client.jar?

We have jboss messaging running on one machine, and we have a web application that is sending messages running on another machine. The web application has jboss-messaging-client.jar in it's classpath so we can send messages to the jboss messaging server (which is on another machine completely). If we try to expose mBeans from the webapp on the application server, the classes in jboss-messaging-client.jar interfere and we get errors. I was wanting to know why jboss-messaging-client.jar contains the jmx server classes, what are they used for? [JBossWS] - JSR-181 annotated POJOs and SOAP attachments

Is there a way to annotate a POJO JSR181 style and be able to get to an attachment from the SOAP request? Don't really see much in the documentation that speaks to doing it with JSR-181 style SOAP-RPC style requests (or any other method for that matter). Is it possible? For a NoTx Datasource the auto commit flag will be set to true as per the JCA/JDBC specification prior to being handed to the client. For a LocalTx Datasource the flag is set to false prior to being handed to the client. You should not modify this flag. This is what JBoss is for, ie managing txn semantics for you. I have no idea what you are talking about when you say 4.0.4c, there has never been such a release, there is no corresponding tag, and I am not sure what you are talking about. The deployment issues you are seeing suggest that the Default datasource cannot be deployed and as a result, JMS cannot be deployed either. JMS depends on JDBC for message persistence. This is not a trivial error and generally suggests something is wrong with your JBoss installation. Did you modify the DefaultDS in any way? My next question would be where does retrieveConnection occur? Servlet, EJB? By default you will not get connection close behavior (or logging) in a Serlvet, it has to be specifically enabled. For EJB's the ConnectionCacheInterceptor performs this task. It hasn't been tested. It will eventually work, but it may have to go through hoops to get there. We only test Messaging releases on JBoss 4.0.1.SP1 and higher.
