[JBoss Seam] - <si:selectItems> Value is not a valid option.

Hi, I'm using JBOSS 4.0.5GA, SEAM 1.1.0RC1 and SelectItems 1.1.1beta2. I have a page to edit users properties, and one of theses fields is the user's company (using si:selectItems). The list of companies show up perfectly, but when I click "Ok" to save the user, in te validation phase I get the following message: "companies": Value is not a valid option. This is a known issue with SFSB, EJB3RC9 and JBossCache. I can't find the JIRA ticket at the moment but the issue is with SFSB and JBossCache. Once I track it down I will post it. It looks like this behavior isn't a bug (see quote from http://docs.jboss.org/ejb3/app-server/HibernateAnnotations/reference/en/h...) anonymous wrote : 2.2.5.5. Association fetching | You have the ability to either eagerly or lazily fetch associated entities. The fetch parameter can be set to FetchType.LAZY or FetchType.EAGER. EAGER will try to use an outer join select to retrieve the associated object, while LAZY is the default and will only trigger a select when the associated object is accessed for the first time. EJBQL also has a fetch keyword that allows you to override laziness when doing a particular query. This is very useful to improve performance and is decided on a use case to use case basis. It is very inconvenient though. I suppose there's no work around other than using LAZY Fetching. However, should an outer join of a parent table to a sub-table using the parent's primary key result in duplicate records? I'll have to do this manually to see what's going on. [JBoss/Spring Integration] - jboss icon change

Dear all, Almost every JBOSS user has met the the icon(a 7 colored dots) in the address line when using JBOSS server. Could anyone let me kown how to change it? I want to use another icon. My application package structure is: C:\Develop\jboss-4.0.4.GA\server\core-dev\deploy Note: Here i added a new icon called favicon.con under C:\Develop\jboss-4.0.4.GA\server\core-dev\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\ROOT.war but it is not reflecting it, i appreciate for the suggestions. [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - Deploying an ejb-jar in jboss eclipse ide

I have installed a jboss 4.0.5 with the ejb3 profile. I have create a little poc project as "a new ejb3 project": /src /mypackage/MyWebService.java /META-INF/ejb-jar.xml MyWebService.java uses @WebService and @WebMethod etc. If I jar it manually and drop it in the deploy dir, it works. However I can't figure out how to deploy it (jarred or exploded) from Jboss Eclipse ide. I've tried several versions of the IDE, including the latest 1.x and the 2.0.0-beta2. I did manage to get the server running from inside Eclipse, but when I try "run on application server" it says no project found that can be run on application server. What version of jboss eclipse ide should I use? How do I enable my ejb3 project to be deployable on my jboss? Thanks for any help. [EJB/JBoss] - Expose EJB simultaneously by JRMP and HTTP

Hi all, We are migrating an application from Weblogic to JBoss. This application is done in Swing and uses EJBs for the server side. We have users that are accessing it from the internal network over JRMP and a few other users are accessing it with a VPN over HTTP (the VPN has firewalls that only accepts HTTP). So, my question: how can I expose an EJB over JRMP and HTTP simultaneously ? Thanks for your help.
