Almost forgot the request ;) Provide downloadable JBossIde zip which contains all the JBossIDE features/plugins packaged in the way described above (nodeps). And maybe a template links/org.jboss.eclipse.lnk file. Then all that needs to be done is to edit the lnk file with a proper path pointing to the unzipped directory and (re)start Eclipse with JBossIDE powers. Oh, too many eclipse directories. There're two different main(eclipse) directories here, one for the Eclipse installation and one for the JBossIDE installation. The directory which contains eclipse/links/ is just "fresh" Eclipse installation (contains the executable eclipse file and all the base features and plugins ). And the directory which contains .eclipseextension doesn't contain anything else than .eclipseextension, features and plugins. So two different locations. This solution keeps your (real) Eclipse installation directory clean and also allows multiple Eclipse installations to use the same JBossIDE installation. [JBoss Seam] - Workaround to

Hi, SEAM is really a great framework, and its conversation model solves a lot of implementation issues I've faced in web development. Because of that and other features I decided to start a project using SEAM. But now in the very beginning of the development phase I can't move forward because the already known bug Could not register Syncronization. The procedures to rise it's error is very simple. Basically I have a @statefull session bean and a @In anotation to inject a context component from the previous statefull session bean, like that: anonymous wrote : @Stateful | @Name("EditUser") | public class EditUserBean implements EditUser { | | @In(create=true) | User user; | .. | .. This is a bean to handle the edition of the user's attributes. It is injected from the following session bean: (which is the one used in the page to select a user from the list) anonymous wrote : @Stateful | @Name("users") | public class UsersBean implements Users { | | @DataModel | private List userList; | | @DataModelSelection | @Out(required=false) | private User user; | .. | .. If I remove the @In(create=true) annotation from the EditUserBean the error doesn't occur, but the user selected is obviously not injected. I'm using JBOSS 4.0.4GA and SEAM 1.0.1GA. I've updated my libs to EJB 3.0 RC9 but I'm still having the same problem. Does anyone know a workaround to this problem or I'll have to wait for the release of another version of EJB/JBOSS AS? [JBoss Seam] - unwanted validation messages

hi. in my form i use h:inputText tags. some of the fields in my form are required so i added the required="true" attribute and it works great but how do i change the message from "field name": Value is required to something of my own? i looked at the JSF Tag Library Documentation and found this two a attributes: - requiredMessage - validatorMessage but i tried them both and none of them worked.... thanks a lot! [JBoss Seam] - Seam-gen new-conversation does not generate test.

Hi All Just noticed that contrary to the seam help blurb on the new-form entry generates the test versions for the file. I checked if it was just a accidental leave off, but there were other items missing rather than just the entries in the build.xml, I presuem this is work in progress, but just in case it isn't I thought I'd raise this. I was looking to use it as an exemplarary project generator, to help the learning process. Many thanks for the good work.
