This should not matter. The client and server are fundamentally disconnected. It's however important that wsdl + mapping + java are in sync. Remember, the abstarct contract defined by wsdl+schema has no notion of java. [JNDI/Naming/Network] - Is it possible to use remote jndi without implementing ejb?

Hi y'all I suspect that jboss doesnt support remote jndi unless ejb is used I am new to jboss though, sorry if i got that wrong. I wrote this program which can successfully communicate with weblogic with a jndi.properties file and weblogic.jar Similarly, I added jbossall-client.jar to the environment and try connect jboss using the application but failed Any thoughts? Hey Rob, if I start the server in the command line without the help of eclipse it starts and stops normally. If I start jboss outof eclipse the progressbar displays "Starting ..." but never changes to "Started". So it seems that the verification of the server state is the problem. But maybe it is a problem with the permission. I work on a linux-system and had a lot of trouble with the permissions in the jboss directory "server". Could you tell me which directories should be accessable.
