[Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Hotdeployment Error with JBoss 4.0.5

Hi, When I hotdeploy my Webapplication (Seam 1.1.1BETA2) on JBoss 4.0.5, following exception occurs: 16:22:06,556 INFO [ExceptionInterceptor] no exceptions.xml file found 16:22:06,572 ERROR [[Faces Servlet]] Servlet.service() for servlet Faces Servlet threw exception javax.faces.FacesException: Error calling action method of component with id loginForm:_id12 at org.apache.myfaces.application.ActionListenerImpl.processAction(ActionListenerImpl.java:74) Is there a caching problem with JBoss or do I have to configure anything else? Hotdeployment works with JBoss 4.0.4 without any problems, by the way. [JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - problem start/stop remote jboss server inside JBoss IDE

I have a problem to start/stop a remote jboss server inside eclipse. I am using JBoss IDE 2.0.0.Beta2 (Bundle) and try to start a remote server with eclipse but get a exception. Hello! I'm trying to connect to remote EJB from rich client, using SSL. Thanks peter for your reply Yes its 2.4. Now its working fine. Thats because, through SSO we are logging in to the application.All roles are defined in that schema. Entries are not there in JBP_USERS, ROLES tables. So built in portlets are not coming up, which is having Admin role. Now I set the default configuration for login-config.xml, and p-server.war/login.jsp . and logged with default admin credentials, and the portlet(CMS) are coming Regards, Manjunadh BVR. Hi, I have the same problem with JBoss 4.0.5 (ClassCastException when trying to narrow an EJB interface retrieved via a JNDI lookup). As with you, my WAR and EJB are colocated in a single Jboss instance. I figured setting "Call by Value" semantics everywhere would fix this (assuming the usual JBoss flat-classloader issues) - however that did not resolve the problem in 4.0.5 !?!? [JBoss jBPM] - Re: Jbpm process designer

Hi there, I am currently using JBoss process designer to develop the process definition.My final year project sponsored based company dont want to use the process designer to develop the process definition. The company say that this is not convenient for not IT literate. However, I have found out that almost every workflow engine in the market have their own process designer or they write to develop the process definition in XML format. Do anyone have any suggestion for this problem. Is there other way to develop process definition. Thank you in advance.
