[JBossCache] - JbossSerialization does not work on some JRockit versions

[JBoss Seam] - Re: Mixing @PersistenceContext with Seam Managed Persistence

Ok, but ias fas as I can see the data writing is commited. I can log on the database and see the correct data. If I start a new application the correct data is read from the database. However the "Seam Managed Persistence" (SMP) does not re-read already read rows without an explicit refresh(). To me it seems like the EM used by the SMP is holding on to stale data. Is there a way to turn on some logging to see the diffrent transactions and the their states and also to see what actuall data hibernate is reading/writing? I did this once under 3.1, but extended one of the beans with a specific method for this. The it works/it doesnt behaviour could be because of jsf and the state it is in. You are correct that the Naming service does not produce Notifications on bind/rebind/unbind operations (I'm looking at org.jnp.server.NamingServer.java). Well, as I have a requirement to listen to the notifications, I am wonderign the best way to proceed to incorporate notification broadcasting from NamingSever. I think I have two ways 1. Incorporate notifications in NamingServer itself (this means I'll have to change the code) 2. Extend NamingServer with notification broadcast support. I am not sure how the second point turns out to be. Any ideas/suggestions? [Beginners Corner] - Recommended place to store lib files

Hi I'm doing an apllication that consist of a jboss service and web service that I'm running in an Apache Axis 1.3 installed in my jboss instance as a web application. My jboss service depends of ActiveMQ libraries and web service application too. So, my first option to place jar files is inside lib dir of my jboss instance but I found this a dirty way because if I want to uninstall my applications I'll need to delete each file from libr dir manually and with the risk to delete a jar used by another application. Then, I decided to make a dir inside lib called ActiveMQ where I place all my jar in a clear way and it works well with jboss-service part but couldn´t be seen by axis webservices. So, my question is which is the recommended way to keep jar files accesible from any application and in a clear and safe way ? I've the same problem with my properties and config files. I put my jboss service config files in my jboss instance config dir but somebody told me its so bad...how should I work with this ?
