kabir's answer is great. but two years elapsed ... Now we have pretty nice @EJB annotation within there no the ugly JNDI-client code required. please look at http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/docs/relnotes/cliref/hman1m/appclient.1m.html and "Creating a Reference to an Enterprise Bean Instance" chapter on J2ee 5 Sun's tutorial. [EJB/JBoss] - tried to enter Stateful bean with different tx context

when multible users accessing the application I am getting the following the log message... INFO | jvm 1 | 2006/11/02 13:45:29 | 13:45:29,216 ERROR [LogInterceptor] TransactionRolledbackLocalException in method: public abstract void javax.ejb.EJBLocalObject.remove() throws javax.ejb.RemoveException,javax.ejb.EJBException, causedBy: INFO | jvm 1 | 2006/11/02 13:45:29 | javax.ejb.EJBException: Application Error: tried to enter Stateful bean with different tx context, contextTx: TransactionImpl:XidImpl[FormatId=257, I am using the REQUIRED transaction attribute and default container configurations(STANDARD for CMP2.x).which uses QueuedPessimisticLock.. I am getting lot of ApplicationDeadLockException..I tried to use Instance Per policy but that is getting more dirty reads. how do i get rid of this problem? Thanks in advance bala. I also have the same machine and everything is ok (I am installing from http://jboss.sourceforge.net/jnlp/jems-installer-1.2.0.BETA3.jnlp, tell me if you are doing something else). It's most likely some bad driver. Could you give more information about the BSOD and your system configuration - processor, video card (and drivers), the file system type where the application server is installed? Does the BSOD include a module file name which caused the error or a call stack? The most common source of java BSODs are the video card drivers, but it could be anything else. Also, it would be good if everyone who experiences this sends me the BSOD minidump. You can do this by first making sure minidumps are enabled in Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery Settings button, then enable the minidump in "Write debugging information" and choose the output folder. After that simply reproduce the error and on the next boot send the dump to vladimir.ralev(a)jboss.com.
