[EJB/JBoss] - What's the default transaction attribute (trans-attribute) f

Hello there, It seems to be a very simple question but it's being hard to find an accurate answer, though. What's the default transaction attribute (trans-attribute) for stateless session EJBs in JBoss 3.2.x series? I mean, if there's no trans-attribute what is default for JBoss 3.2.x? I've found the reply below from Adrian Brock but at that time (2001) it stated that the "current" default value was REQUIRED. http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=24020 In summary, may someone please tell us the current (2006) default value for trans-attribute on JBoss 3.2.x? [EJB 3.0] - Re: Getting Syntax error with EJB 3.0.

Thanks for your valuable replies..You really saved my time in fixing this. But one thing as I am getting the syntax error in the eclipse I may need to put the jar file in the classpath of the project. And that to the file jboss-ejb3-client.jar didn't worked. I have downloaded the RC3 of jboss and tried putting the file jboss-ejb3x.jar in the class path of the project. And interestingly the syntax error was gone. And now I need to package the Bean and access it from the client. My doubt is that don't we need to have an xml descriptor for ejb3 deployement in the server? If yes will it be the same as the one used for EJB 2.0 ? Pleas let me know as soon as possible. [Beginners Corner] - JBoss Hot Deployment Problem

Hi All, If i make some changes on the deployed Sar file, and overwrite the Sar file, the JBossAS (4.04 )stops the service and starts it again, but my changes doesn?t applied. It seems like that JBoss changes some services at some place and when that service have the same name, it doesn?t apply the changes ? If it is so, then how can i clean this cache ? Inderjeet, I would suggest you not do that (run a web app from a different machine) because then you are relying on network communications which is just another potential problem. Just deploy the webapp on jboss normally. In your build.xml you can overwrite auto-generated targets from your build-impl.xml. Yes, i've got the very same problem. In build-impl.xml the ant task is defined as this: | <taskdef name="wsimport" classname="com.sun.tools.ws.ant.WsImport"> | <classpath path="${j2ee.platform.wsimport.classpath}"/> | </taskdef> | Changing the classpath to be: | <classpath path="${libs.jaxws20.classpath}"/> | fixes the build. I defined a library (JAX-WS) to point to the jwsdp-2.0 jars. But this fix breaks if build-impl.xml is regenerated next time by netbeans :-). I'm using netbeans 5.5. sorry, in a better way: I am migrating from JBoss 2.4 to 4.0.5. All my entity beans were working fine with jaws.xml under JBoss 2.4. Now when i try to deploy the same beans under JBoss 4.0.5 the deployment does not give any error but when i try to invoke any finder method it gives "javax.ejb.FinderException: Unknown query".
