[JBoss Seam] - <s:div> doesn't render the id attribute

Hi, I have the following: <s:div styleClass="tally" id="counts">...</s:div> The rendered html doesn't contain the id attribute. Is this a bug in Seam ui? i'm seeing the code of jBPM and seam and i have that question: when do you think change the mapping of the persistent classes in jBPM and Seam from hbm.xml's files to annotations??? somebody considered that idea? [JBoss Portal] - JBoss Portal 2.4

I am currently using JBoss AS 4.0.4 GA on RedHat 4 ES. I have updated my JBoss WS to 1.0.4 GA and installed JBoss Portal 2.4.0. I am using a oracle 9.2.0.8 database as my repository. Most things seem to work except for the following error: An error occured while rendering window 'default.default.DefaultCMSPortletWindow' java.lang.NullPointerException Being new to this any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you both very much for the very fast replies. It works and I can now log into my application correctly. Seam is a new paradigm for me and I'm making rookie mistakes. However, thanks to your explanations and the Seam Book, I believe I have what I need to handle the rest. (hopefully anyway). I'll never forget the variable vs class thing again. I GET IT now!!!
