[JBoss Portal] - Integration of Ajax application in Jboss Portal 2.4.0

Hi, I am using jboss portal 2.4.0 and I wish to know the steps that are required to integrate an ajax application in jboss portal. I tried by downloading the ajax invoice viewer application from portal swap, and deployed it but in vain as I am getting lot of errors regarding missing TLD's. [EJB 3.0] - @OneToMany with String as the many

If I have an entity with a collection of Strings (e.g. a Person with many FirstNames), how would I map this to database tables using annotations? I tried a @OneToMany on the Set FirstNames, but this doesn't work. Is my only option really to make FirstName an @Entity? Is there any other way to get this to work without making FirstName an entity (i.e. without using @OneToMany?) [JBoss Seam] - In selectItems, how to synchronize objectId for selected val

I'm using SelectItems approach from http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SelectItems The problem: when displaying a form with pre-existing selected values, the objectsId in the list of SelectItems will be different than the forms parent object that holds the reference to the selected object. Therefore the hashes don't match in this code (ReferenceConverter class) | int hash = Integer.valueOf(str).intValue(); | for (Object val : values) { | if ( val!=null && val.hashCode()==hash ) { | return val; | } | } | As I feel this problem is conceptual, not sure how to synchronize the objectId for the selected value and the one value in the list of Select Items? [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Deploy a web application on JBoss

Hi All I need to deploy a web application on JBoss. I know that i can deploy a web application by putting my war file in defauly/deploy folder of Jboss server. But I would like to know that can't I deploly a web application by simply giving the path of my war file somewhere in Jboss, as we do in weblogic or websphere? e.g. My war file is placed in one folder and JBoss is installed in some other folder. And instead of copying my war file to jboss. i should be simply able to give the path of my war file in JBoss?
