Okay, so are you supposed to call that method? Based on @Remove, aren't you supposed to call a method marked with that annotation to signify the end of the stateful conversation? I tried this (i.e. putting @Destroy @Remove on a business method that I call) which then gives an error about how the bean no longer exists (probably because it was just destroyed). [JBoss Portal] - fix the position of portlet window in a page

Hi all I'm using jboss portal 2.4 bundled version. Is it possible to fix the position of the portlet window in a page? plz explain using an example. How can I design my own layout and theme? Also is it possible to fix the width and height of the portlet window and if the content (if I use jsp to display the content) inside the portlet grows then scrollbars can be added? Means user should not login from more than one session at a time. Once he is in logged in state, we should not allow him to login in another session. So i am overriding LoginModule and writing some logic to avoid. But the problem is, If the user is looged in, It is not even going to Login module. It is directly taking from cache and allowing him to access the application. So i have removed password-stacking mocule option. Even then, It is behaving as same. [EJB/JBoss] - Packaging a Client - Which classes to include?

JBoss 4.0.4-CR2, EJB 3.0 I am trying to package a stand-alone client which will access EJB's. Methods in the remote interface that the client uses return DTO objects created from model objects. For example, getEmployeeDTO() creates EmployeeDTO from Employee object in the Session Bean. I was hoping to get away with just packaging EmployeeDTO and not Employee. Is this possible? I get a classNotFound error for Employee when I invoke the client. Bigger question is how to know which classes to package in the client. Does one have to include all classes referenced in the SessionBean itself? It looks to me like @Remove and @Destroy are on the same method in all the examples I have seen. I never do anything in that method. It's just there. The only time I can imagine doing something in the @Remove @Destroy method would be, say, to cancel a registration that hasn't been completed before the timeout, for example, by removing the incomplete reg data from the DB. [JBoss Seam] - JBoss Seam with JBpss jBPM

The company has ready existing JSP form which requires automation so i was wondering how JBoss Seam help here. The company just require to autmate the existing form. Must @Remove and @Destroy always be on the same method? I still can't tell whether they are used to indicate to the container what to do when the annotated method (it would be have to be a business method) is called, or whether they are callbacks in that the method (a cleanup sort of method) is called by the container when it is about to do something...things I've read seem to lead me in both directions. Mr. King, that was a good one! As of the InterceptionFilter I had to pack a jboss-seam.jar in the EAR. Another one was with the rest of the web-related libs in the war. That solved my troubles.
