I pulled it, compiled it, and tried it. It gets a JDBC Exception and fails to create an instance of the Forums. I wasn't around back in the early days if this was ever discussed, but IMHO it's just not doable in any kind of maintainable way. For example, a cache needs a JChannel, which is not serializable (and can't be in a meaningful way, as it has refs to sockets.) [Beginners Corner] - Questions about the unified Classloader

I have a couple of questions regarding the JBoss unified classloader: 1) Are there any plans to refactor out the unified classloader mechanism at any time in the near future? 2) What would be the possibility for a user to swap out the unified classloader in favor of a a different classloading mechanism. Is this a pluggable portion of the server? [JBoss Seam] - Server side validation through AJAX

I was thinking that it should be possible to use AJAX to validate forms on the server side using the hibernate validation annotations that are already there in the entities. So that it looks just like client side validation (happens while the user is working with the form) but you don't have to write any Java Script validation code. I've been offline for a while so there might already be something like this available. Otherwise I'd like to discuss the possibilities of this. 1.) Unzip'd it (jbossws.beans) 2.) Made the change 3.) Zip'd it back up (jbossws.beans) I had to zip it back to jbossws.beans b/c uncompressed it would not work....kept getting null pointer errors. It might be better to have this uncompress so when people can configure this easier. What do you think? Actually, it's my mistake. The locatorURI for Server shouldn't be localhost as that would just loopback.
