One option is to use an exploded directory off off /deploy like this: server/default/deploy/myear.ear/application.xml server/default/deploy/myear.ear/mywar.war/WEB-INF/web.xml ... If you don't want to work out of the JBoss /deploy directory, you can tell the JBoss deployer to also look in your project directory: myproject/myear.ear/application.xml myproject/myear.ear/mywar.war/WEB-INF/web.xml ... You will edit the conf/jboss-service.xml file. The last MBean in the file controls the deployer. I just had this problem but setting myFacesLifecycleBug to be false made the exception to disappear. Hi. I got it working BUT everything is still showing to the same db. So all portals share the same content.... Not very nice! I've been sitting here and wonder if I just need to go to LifeRay that does support it. I had a look but could not getting to work in JBOSSAS 4.0.4. I'm sitting in the middle and needs to make a decision soon. Any developer out there that can put some light on the subject!!! [EJB 3.0] - @Local Local cannot be resolved to a type.

Just trying to get started with EJB3. I am using an EJB3 tutorial found here: http://www.laliluna.de/download/first-ejb3-tutorial-en.pdf I am trying to declare a Local interface using the @Local annotation. I am using Eclipse 3.1. I get the error: "Local cannot be resolved to a type" My interface is below: | package de.laliluna.library; | import javax.ejb.*; | | @Local | public interface BookTestBeanLocal { | @Id | public void test(); | } | Obviously I must be missing a jar or something, but I can't figure out what jar the @Local annotation is declared in. Any help would be appreciated. Hi Xenomino- An alpha for LAN clustering is due out around the end of September, this is what I am currently working on. The JMS spec doesn't say anything about clustering. [JBoss Seam] - Understanding conversations

hello, I'm new to seam and I am trying to get conversations to work. My problem concerns two jsf pages and one bean. in the 1. jsf page I simply call the bean: <s:link value="letsgo" action="#{actions.letsGo}"/> the bean is supposed to be conversational: | @Scope(CONVERSATION) | @Name("actions") | @LoggedIn | public class Actions implements Serializable{ | ... | | | @Begin() | public String letsGo() { | return "showit"; | } | | | public String showItAgain() { | return "showit"; | } | | | in my 2. jsf page I call <s:link value="again" action="#{actions.showItAgain}"/> so it just redisplays the page, to see if the conversation id changes on redisplay. the funny thing is, it does change. Each time I hit "again" the conversation id increases. Now, if I go back to my first jsf and call letsGo again, the conversation id only increases one time and after that it stays the same. I thought this should be the right behaviour from the start?? What am I missing? thank you!
