[JBoss Portal] - Getting

Portal 2.4 CR-3 JBoss AS 4.0.4 Windows XP Hypersonic default db installed using JEMS-installer 1.2.0 BETA I am getting a "validation error" whenever I try to click on a window object in the management portlet. The error appears in the portlet view as a red line of text. Has anyone ever seen this error before? It also does not load the window object page, so as it stands I cannot modify or delete and Window objects that are created. I can access pages, instances, etc. I have not changed any configuration settings, the portal and AS are all using out of the box settings and the default Hypersonic DB for both AS and portal. There are also no errors coming of in the logs that I can tell. I am not sure if this problem has to do with using the JEMS installer or not. the reason I used it is it seemed to be the best (or only) way to get the portal running on the JBoss server as well as EJB 3.0 Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated! I did observe some queer behavior as I progressed and your reply definately saved me some time. It would be of great help to get clarifications for the following as well. Whether the underlying PCs are the same in the following scenarios : One SFSB with extended PC invoking another SFSB with extended PC ? with non-extended PC ? One SLSB invoking another SLSB. [Beginners Corner] - Unable to get timer handles for containerId: jboss.j2ee:jndi

im trying to access my database thru ejb.......... im using jboss-4.0.4.CR2.......... but while starting the server im getting an error like --"Unable to get timer handles for containerId: jboss.j2ee:jndiName=Statustable,service=EJB" ---- where Statustable is an oracle database table created by me.... what could be the problem? can anybody help me? [JBoss Seam] - Invitation to try new Seam authentication features

I'd like to invite people to try out (and hopefully provide some feedback) on the security features that are currently under development in CVS. At this stage the authentication features are in a usable form and the next step is to determine the best way to implement authorization. I've been keeping an eye on the various discussions on the forum about how authorization should work (permissions vs jaas roles, etc) and would like to produce a definitive set of requirements that hopefully can be satisfied by an eventual implementation.
