I'm wondering about the exact same thing. But all further nested elements contain the namespace declaration even though they all use the same namespace. In large messages the duplicated namespace declarations make the messages uneccessary large and very hard to read for a human. [EJB 3.0] - Persistance.xml in .ear/META-INF

I have put my persistance.xml to META-INF in ear but jboss seems to ignore it. It is a bug? This is why I need this: I have 2 jars (A.jar and B.jar) with classes annotated with @Entity and 2 ears. In both ears I want to put jars A and B but in one ear entities from A.jar should be ignored, and in second ear entities from B.jar should be ignored. How to achieve this? [JBoss AOP] - Problems getting AOP to work on jboss4.0.4GA

Hi. I've upgraded my jboss AS installation to 4.0.4GA and AOP1.5.0GA, but now I can't get AOP to work. I've tested with a clean installation default, and done the following: -Deleted existing jboss-aop.deployer from the deploy folder -Copied over the jboss-aop-jdk50.deployer to the deploy folder -copied the contents of the lib50 folder to the lib folder of the jboss installation -added pluggable-instrumentor.jar to the bin folder When I write a simple interceptor or advice and run it outside [JBoss Messaging] - Invalid column index problem

Hi everyone- I have just been on holiday pretty much all last week so sorry for the late reply to this. As you seem to have discovered now, the invalid column index exceptions are because the the database schema has very slightly changed betweehn CR3 and CR4, so when upgrading you will need to: a) drop all your pre CR4 messaging tables b) make sure you redeploy the new persistence manager mbean config from the distro as is appropriate for the datbase you are using. I think it is much cleaner to just add your own queries. It's rather easy if you just do it the same way as it is done in jbpm. Just create your own extra queries file and make sure it is loaded in your hibernateSessionFactory (by adding it in your hibernate.cfg.xml). By doing this you can extend the jbpm stuff with your own queries without the need to change anything to the internal queries or mappings. Then you can write some classes which shield you from the hibernate usage. You could f.e. add a new service or provide your own implementation for an existing one (by putting it in your own jbpm.cfg.xml). Hope this helps, Olivier.
