My thoughts exactly, except that without the dba role I get this error when launching a process instance: | 14:31:22,644 ERROR JDBCExceptionReporter : ORA-00942: table or view does not exist | | 14:31:22,659 ERROR ProcessCommand : WORKFLOW_JBPM_LAUNCH_PROCESS couldn't assign id to org.jbpm.graph.exe.ProcessInstance@d2efa1 | I get other assorted database errors when attempting other operations, e.g. deploying a definition: | 14:35:32,191 ERROR ProcessCommand : Unable to deploy process definition Process definition "Sample Workflow" deployment | failed - could not get next sequence value | If I grant dba to the role I have assigned to the login user id, everything is happy again. [Remoting] - Re: RMI question - java.rmi.NoSuchObjectException

Need a little more info, but that exception is usually thrown when the object being invoked upon (on the server side) is no longer available. If using remoting, shouldn't matter that the client actually resides within JEE code. Might want to try to debug by just running the remoting client standalone and call on server. If can produce a test case that demonstrates the behavior, would be even better. [Remoting] - Re: connection validator warn message

The ConnectionValidator is used by either the detector to validate that a server has gone down (by sending it an explicit ping invocation) or if have connection detection turned on within the client (by registering a listener to be notified if specific server has gone down while client has been idle). You are probably seeing this due to detector seeing that server has been shut down. Maybe better to put this logging at DEBUG instead of WARN? Have you tried running without dba permission? Off the top of my head, as long as it has rights to select/insert/update/delete you should be fine. We potentially talked about having this functionality where we are using jBPM, and came up with the same idea of drawing transitions back to everywhere. However, the tasks that have already been performed would still be completed, unless you programmatically did some magic to undo whatever that task might have been. [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - Using Tomcat in JBoss 4.0.3SP1 for cgi

Hi all, I have a probleme with using Tomcat in JBoss 4.0.3SP1 for cgi. I cannot find the $CATALINA_BASE/server/lib/servlets-cgi.renametojar, which you have to rename. Is there a installation guide for cgi using in JBoss 4.0.3SP1 with Tomcat available or can somebody describe what I have to do and where I have to change the web.xml for using the servlet? If call setNewServerSocketFactory() on server invoker (only applies to socket and multiplex though) with new server socket factory, there is a background thread that will periodically (every 10 seconds) look and see that the server socket factory has been updated and swap it out with the current one in use. Test cases within remoting are under org.jboss.test.remoting.transport.socket.ssl.serversocketrefresh and org.jboss.test.remoting.transport.multiplex.ssl.serversocketrefresh packages.
