the answer is... | @OneToMany(mappedBy="remittancePackage", cascade=CascadeType.ALL) | @Cascade(org.hibernate.annotations.CascadeType.DELETE_ORPHAN) | where @Cascade os a hibernate Cascade object. Would be nice if these hints were in the documention. It really helps those of use who are not experienced with hibernate. Your code is looking up an object in JNDI, and part of the object name you are giving to JNDI contains the directory name 'comp', but no such directory exists. Most likely, you are using a name such as "java:/env/comp/XXX". One way to see what JDNI names are bound is to use jmx-console, click on the jboss:service=JNDIView mbean, and then invoke the list operation. Hi all, For development I need to run 2 JBoss instances belonging to different clusters on the same RHES computer. To split clusters, I tried to use the default name (DefaultPartition), but different mcast_addr and AutoDicoveryAddress: 1st instance mcast_addr = 228.3.33.113 AutoDiscoveryAddress = 230.4.44.114 2nd instance mcast_addr = 228.3.33.114 AutoDiscoveryAddress = 230.4.44.115 I use binding service, and both instances run fine, except that they can see one another. Is this expected behavior? I thought that different addresses would prevent them from seeing one another. Can I have 2 clusters with the same name but with different JGroup configuration details? Do you have a firewall? What operating system are you using? In the standard JBoss installation, the port 1099 and 1098 are required for RMI. Perhaps port 1098 (or its equivalent, if you changed the port) is blocked. Other ports to consider are 4444 and 4445. I know I had to open those also, but can't recall if that was necessary only for accessing MBeans, or for EJBs also. It was left over from when I thought my SFSB could biject a value visible to JSF. The "rename quux" action also still doesn't work as BQManagerBean.setQuux() is never called with a value typed into the <h:inputText value="#{quux.name}" /> text input. If I change the "required=false" on the @In for quux to "create=true", then bringing up the pages causes "javax.ejb.EJBException: Application Error: no concurrent calls on stateful beans". So far as I can tell, values from neither inputText, whether a property of the conversation-scoped SFSB or a conversation-scoped entity EJB annotated as being bijected to/from that SFSB, are ever injected into that SFSB. I've tried looking at Seam/JSF/Facelets/MyFaces code to see if I could figure out where it's going, but I'm lost in a sea of frameworks so far. Is there no way of tracking where an input value goes in that framework set?
