Baskar, After a password is changed, the user must be logged out of application (i.e. JBossSX cache flush). If your UI is web-based, this usually can occure by invalidating the web session. Is this step happening? The one feature I need from JBoss IDE is convenient deployment of J2EE components. However, it's the one feature that's broken. Where's QA on this? Configuration: - Windoze XP Pro SP 2 - Java 1.5.0_07 - JBossAS 4.0.4 GA patch 1 - JBoss IDE 2.0.0 alpha 1a After creating a J2EE 1.4 project and running XDoclet to generate the needed descriptors, unable to deploy. For Project -> Properties -> Server, dialog box says "This project cannot be deployed to a server." For Run -> Debug (?!?!) -> no JBoss server configuration appears. However, for New -> Server, a JBoss 4 server option appears, can be configured, and can be run/stopped from Eclipse. Unfortunately, the J2EE part of JBoss IDE does not recognize it at all. This all seemed to work for Java 1.4. Unfortunately, my project needs the latest Java features. When will a fix be available? Hi, I managed to find a workaround for my problem: the trick was to package the contactws.jar into contactws.ear with appropriate application.xml. I can't say what exactly was wrong with the earlier attempt. Some sort of class loading/scoping issue I guess. I had a functionaly identical WS pojo and web.xml. I am deploying an exploded ear with exploded war and getting exactly the same error. I notice that jboss modifies the web.xml in the same way. My web service works only after deploying my exploded ear/war (or restoring web.xml to what it was when I wrote it). Upon restarting jboss I get that error without fail. I too am keen for any help. In the meantime I am going to have to deploy my app as an ear file which is not so good because I have configuration info I would like to modify easily.
