I think you are using too new version of Spring2. As I'm aware version m3+ is uncompatible with current SpringDeployer. [Beginners Corner] - JBOSS TCP/IP Timeout

Hi all!! I came here, because I already searched all internet to find a solution by google, but nothing, zero...! Looks like a simple solution to a complex question, so let's start... I have an application server that cuts the TCP/IP connection to my client application (running on IE) when a timeout of 2 minutes is reached. When I run a thread that has a long job to do (and do it by themself, do not contact the server again, until it ends the job... 30 minutes normally), the connection is cutted off... returning the statu's window of this thread (just an animated gif) with the message: "504 Gateway timeout error"... My job is to simulate this scenario, I have the exactly same code running on JBOSS 4.0.2, and Eclipse.. tried all timeouts of the Jboss configs (including jnp.timeout)... but I never could stop the application. It never suddenly stops the thread running, even when the timeout reaches it's value. So, my question is... Is there any config on JBOSS, Eclipse or external app that can do this TCP/IP killing, obeying a timeout value? Thanks a lot! if you are using a java client point it to the TestSessionBean?wsdl and it should work. this way you get the bean isntantiated in the EJB container. if you don't reference the web service as a bean then you loose the EJB context and thus you loose the EJB supported injection. Same thing happens if you are injecting a @Resource or @PersistenceContext. it's the container that understands the annotations. so if the object is created in the wrong container the annotations are ignored. i don't understand the details of how this works, but i do know that the container is very important and i'm sure the jboss web service container doesn't undestand @EJB, but the EJB container does. [JBoss Portal] - Re: IPC Portlet calling itself?

Basically I have a content display portlet that will display a file from Alfresco's CMS repository. Now if the file it displays happens to have HTML links to other files in Alfresco's repository, I want it to link back to the portlet with that file as a parameter. I was able to get this to work with just 1 portlet successfully....the content itself will simply have a relative link to a file in the repository and the portlet will scan for any links and superimpose a response.createActionURL() into them so that they actually send the filepath as a parameter to the portlet.
