Hi , Just want to know what is action1 in the action tag. I think you need to have some Class that implements ActionHandler , which get's called when leaving the start-state node jbpmproto.EmailNotificationAction | e.g. jbpmproto.EmailNotificationAction In this case MyActionHandler gets executed when leaving a node. I have altered the demo app to trigger an action on leave-node <start-state name="create new web sale order"> | <task swimlane="buyer"> | <controller> | <variable name="item"/> | <variable name="quantity"/> | <variable name="address"/> | </controller> | </task> | <event type="node-leave"> | <action name="action1">jbpmproto.EmailNotificationAction</action> | </event> | <transition name="Save and Forward to Salesman" to="evaluate web order" /> | </start-state> | but the Action is never getting called when i leave via the transition. Is there something wrong with my syntax? [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - [JDBCExceptionReporter] java.net.SocketException: Broken pip

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm hoping for some configuration setting to alleviate this problem. So... JBoss 4.0.3SP1 EJB3-RC4 We have a two JBoss installs that use EJB3s. Our db is clustered. At times our db fails over. When this happens JBoss' connections get all weird (technical term). We start seeing the following exceptions in the logs: 10:52:46,385 ERROR [JDBCExceptionReporter] java.net.SocketException: Broken pipe This happens for a long time after the db recovers. So long that we usually just restart JBoss. This works, but is a royal pain. It seems as if JBoss is not clearing the pool of invalid/corrupt/etc connections. Is there any setting that will cause JBoss to purge the connection pool of these bad connections and acquire new ones when such a situation occurs? Lets say we have two archives X.sar and Y.war. The Y.war is inside X.sar. The folder structure is something like this. | X.sar | --META-INF | --jboss-service.xml | --Y.war | --WEB-INF | --lib | One of the services specified in jboss-service.xml of X.sar needs to use classes present in the lib folder of the Y.war. I want to use the same classloader for X.sar and Y.war. For example if there is a singleton class there should be only one object which is shared between the X.sar and Y.war. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi Alex, sorry because ot the wating time for my answer. So after consulting my tutors they is no and seems to be no problem because of copyright and so one .... If there is no restriction from activeBPEL using a modificated version of the loanRequest from my one side you have green ! and it will be nice to see that this example helps other new users understanding this new technologie. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - getAuthenticationCachePrincipals always returns empty list

Hi, We have a Swing based GUI application that connects to a JBoss EJB server and we need to know if a user is already logged into the server. I'm looking at the getAuthenticationCachePrincipals method in the JMX bean JaasSecurityManager to return me a list of authenticated users. I've got the code working O.K. but the method always returns me an empty list. | MBeanServerConnection server = MBeanServerConnection)ctx.lookup("jmx/rmi/RMIAdaptor"); | | ObjectName jaasMgr = new ObjectName("jboss.security:service=JaasSecurityManager"); | | Object[] params = {p_strSecurityDomainName}; | | String[] signature = {"java.lang.String"}; | | List users = (List) server.invoke(jaasMgr, "getAuthenticationCachePrincipals", params, signature); I have double checked that the DefaultCacheTimeout is set to a non zero value. We are using a custom login module which extends the UsernamePasswordLoginModule....we are calling the super methods everywhere as well.
