[Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Access Contol for the JMX-COnsole

Hey, I Want to configure the Jmx-Console as Read-only for group of guys. Can any one give me the Steps To do this. I tried with the documents available in Wiki, But still i am getting error. As far as I understand from your question, this is not related Eclipse JBoss Cache IDE question, just eclipse user question. If you like to see the all methods of the TreeCache class in eclipse environenment, first of all ensured that TreeCache class exist in your project classpath. And then in your class using the TreeCache instance, you could use . (dot) notation after the TreeCache variable to see the all TreeCache methods. As you see from the slides you cited, it takes a little work to use JSF with portlet modes. After that talk, I came up with a slightly different approach shown here: http://wiki.apache.org/myfaces/UsingPortletModes Some others have tried it out and improved upon it. JSR-301 promises to standardize a way to use modes with JSF portlets, but that is a long way off. For now, the best way to accomplish the mode changes will be application dependent. Because the mode changes are done before the JSF lifecycle methods are called, it really doesn't have much to do with Seam. So Seam shouldn't enter into the mix here. [JBoss Portal] - Forums 2.4 and Portal - Guest newtopic and reply option

I would like the newtopic and reply options to be available for guests viewing the forums. Where do I update the privileges for forum users so it will work that way. For Nukes, this could be done through the web interface but I don't see a web interface option for 2.4 Portal Forums. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Sharing sign on between two JBoss AS instances

Good day! I have two JBoss application servers (versions 4.0.2 and 4.0.4) running on a single machine, on different ports. On those, I run different applications, but the applications are used by the same users with the same credentials. I need the servers to share the login process somehow, so that once user logs in to either of them, he or she is automatically recognized by the other. (Or possibly the login process could just be shared.) I have consulted the faq, google, wikis, and the manual, but came up without ideas; I am still rather a newbie to JBoss and authentication processes. Is it possible to achieve this just by configuring JAAS, without a third-party single sign on software, such as JOSSO? If yes, (or perhaps also if no,) could you please provide some relevant information?
