It seems that the problem with same links in search results is gone with seam 1.1.1 because there is now cid included as well (it grows with each search request). [EJB/JBoss] - Optimize with pass-by-reference

Hello, we have the following configuration on jboss 4.0.1sp1: - an ear - other deployments (flat, not deployed as ear) . The problem is that the ear must be in isolation, so we made the following configuration for ear-deploy.xml true true The problem is that now, we cannot avoid the overhead of the objects being treated as remote in spite of being local. I know that prior JBoss 4 there was a way to avoid this problem: <container-invoker-conf> true </container-invoker-conf> But this configuration is not supported any more by Jboss 4. [JBoss Portal] - Layout I18N: wrong locale in JSP

We need to internationalize the contents of our layout templates (page titles, some running text, injection of language-specific stylesheets), but the Locale set in the LocaleInterceptor (based on session, cookies, user preference) is not being propagated to the request received by the layout JSP. Looking at org.jboss.portal.theme.impl.JSPLayout, it seems this is because the layout dispatcher is being passed the original client request, as opposed to a request object with the preferred locales augmented by the LocaleInterceptor. My grasp of the various request objects flowing around the system is tenous, so I'm not quite sure what the right solution should be here. Hi, I m not sure whether this would help Based on the article http://cwiki.apache.org/GMOxDOC11/jboss-to-geronimo-jdbc-migration.html Geronimo does not support accessing external resources(JDBC datasources) by setting JNDI properties at runtime. This is because reference resolution is done at deploy time and is based on the JSR-77 object names of the target component. What is the best way to provide the JTA datasource ,by boostraping a microcontainer or using the Geronimo transaction manager ? [Clustering/JBoss] - Images/Java Script do not load the first time

Hello, Environment Details: JBoss Version: 4.0.3SP1 OS: Solaris 10 Apache: 2.0.54 Load Balancer: F5. I have a cluster of 2 nodes running fine. When I access the application in a new browser window, the page loads, but without the images and java scripts. This happens but not consistently. Sometimes (very few though) the page loads absolutely fine. Where is the exact issue for images and java script not loading the frst time? Is it F5 load balancer, apache or jboss that needs some configuration changes? Also, on the "refresh", it reloads the page and everything loads fine. Also on a refresh, it again asks for Single sign on login. This is not good too. Why does it happen? Regards, Rajesh. I just tried out the new itext-functionality. It's great. But there is one problem. Seam always uses .seam as default extension - generated pdf-url looks like: http://localhost:8080/seam-doc.seam?docId=3 When manually changing extension as in web.xml defined, pdf will be created perfectly. Is it possible to configure the seam-iext-extension in web.xml? You can configure a startup servlet in web.xml file. The init() method gets called during application startup and destroy() when application is shutdown. Let me know if you need more details.
