Please add a Feature Request on Jira. http://jira.jboss.org The feature request would be to "hide" from the GUI the versions, with still a way to access any version of the document (by using a paged mechanism for example) But internally it should always keep the whole story of the file, that's the point of versioning (as a difference to a backup) Good point ! [JBoss Messaging] - MDB doesn't catch exceptions

Hi everybody, i have a problem: i have a MDB that, after receiving messages from a queue, calls an EJB method to store on DB. If the storing raise an exception the ejb doesn't catch the exception, but the transaction rollbacks and, after 10 times, the message is sent to DLQ, without advise. In server.log i see the SQL exceptions, but at code level i can't. [JBoss Seam] - Re: Lazy mans guide to developing SEAM!

What I'd like to get from seam-gen is the "run jboss in eclipse" scenario described by the OP. When I create a project with seam-gen I can use ant to deploy an .ear or deploy exploded, but that's all done outside of eclipse so I don't get the breakpoints and there are no instant updates without running "ant explode". Am I missing something in my usage of seam-gen or is it not possible? [JBoss Portal] - CMSPortlet in 2.4: Deleting versions of a document

Guten Tag. I was surprised to see that there's no user interface to delete versions of a document (rather than exporting and re-importing). It's a bit ugly to see a few dozens variants of the same index.html. Did I miss something? E.g. an option to keep only the last 5 variants? [Advanced Documentation] - Jboss 4.0.4RC1 and Multiple MySql Databases !

Hi guys, i'd like you to help me on configuring JBOSS 4.0.4RC1 so that i can handle 2 databases. I mean : i have a Jboss Server and i want to deployed some jar for a Database 1 and others for the database 2. Otherwise, for a single Jboss Server (4.0.4RC1), i have 2 MySql Databases : database1 and Database2. I'd like to deploy 2 specific archives of entities ejb3. (example : jar1 and jar2). jar1 to work with Database1, and jar2 with Database2. Where and how should i configure my Jboss Server ? PS : Jboss is already in use, but it has been configured for a single Database. Now i'd like to add another Database. Thanks a lot for your help, guys. Best Regards, Divx. Hy to all! I have a problem with jboss 4.0.5 On my developmentsystem i installed a jboss 4.0.4 and there ist no problem with urls that contains the ;jsessionid=blahblah but on produktionsserver with jboss 4.0.5 i get always an 404 httperror. When i use cookies ther is no problem but some user ae not using cookies. Is there a problem in jboss or only in one config-file. Yes, you can either declare your own domain or extend one, either in ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml or in your-application-aop.xml. Extending is basically like creating a new domain, but gives you all the parent domain aspects "for free". Typically you will want to include more interceptors and use the ones from the ejb3 container? If you want to find the calling class, it isn't supported out of the box, but you may have some luck with a) creating caller pointcuts that implement bean interfaces, e.g. something like ... b) in your caller interceptor putting the caller in a ThreadLocal c) Modify the client proxies for @Remote interfaces to pick that info up from the TL and put it into the invocation, so it gets sent to the container. This is done by creating a new stack in ejb3-interceptors-aop.xml and using the @RemoteBinding annotation. Why a converter? I simply think its a 'neater' approach - it makes the JSF cleaner (no logic about how the id's of your entities) AND you get an object back in your backing bean not a String so again, it makes the business logic cleaner (no presentation logic) BUT they are more effort to write. You can take a look at the example - this uses an alternative converter in the backing bean. Alternatively you can do it the-jsf-way, and register a converter in faces-config and reference that. The 'Getting Started' section of the docs say to put both in jars in WEB-INF/lib but the 'Reference Guide'/'Jars' discusses putting the selectitems.jar in the ear - I've updated the text to make it a bit clearer.
