[JBoss/Spring Integration] - JBoss, Spring and JSR 170
by fzaker
Hi,
We are planning to start a document and record management system. In the beginning phase, we are inspecting choices for underlying layers. Till now, our preferences are :
1. JBoss AS
2. Spring
Problem: We need to use a JSR 170 (or something like that!) implementation. We have considered JackRabbit and Jeceira are not yet mature enough to be used in an enterprise application. CRX is too expensive and the only other one I found is eXo platform.
Questions:
1. Is there any other open source implementation, suitable for enterprise level?
2. Is it possible to use eXo JSR 170 implementation together with JBoss and Spring? If yes, how could we select from duplicate services like Transaction service?
3. I have considered a jboss project named Shotuko. Could it be helpful for our project?
Best Regards,
Farshid Zaker

[JBoss Seam] - problem integrating seam
by yoav200
Hello all,
I have a JSF Webapp. I use myfaces & tomahawk with ajax4jsf as JSF components and EJB3 as my model tier.
My webapp works fine. I?m trying to integrate seam with my webapp and For some reason I cannot make it to work.
My webapp is deployed in an ear containing 3 jar (model, logic, seam) and a war (web)
When I deploy it on Jboss 4.0.4GA the deploy goes fine, looking at the console all my ejbs are registered,
But when I open the webapp in a browser no data is displayed !
It looks like my jsp page does not recognize the seam object; I get no exception or any kind of error.
I need urgent help with this one, I spend a full day already to solve my problem and came up with nothing...
If any of my code is needed to evaluate please ask for the relevant and I?ll supply
Thanks
