Changing a bit, how long does a stub holds a connection to the server (I believe it lasts only through the method call right?)? Does it has any type of keep alive mechanism? Having the same problems as you guys. Using build 4.0.5.GA. I have also listed all my entity beans in the persitence.xml file. I have tried googling around for some time now, and I have still not managed to find any solution. Hopefully someone here can help us out. Thanks in advance. If you are going to use JBoss, then JBoss Federated SSO Framework is the way to go because we will always align it with our JBoss initiatives. Things like auditing service will be provided by the JBoss security infrastructure. As Sohil said this is a framework. No it should be perfectly possible to debug ejb3 applications the same as you debug any. Start JBoss in debug mode using JBoss IDE, in the servers view or the JBoss Servers View. Make sure the source tab of the launch configuration includes the project you want to debug. Package and deploy your project. Set your breakpoints. Run your test client. Watch your breakpoints get hit. A new packaging utility is being made and it will be in the next release. We don't want to release a new beta without this packaging project done, however, the author of it has other responsibilities as well that eat into his time. Once that is done, I'm working to integrate with that packaging utility a bit, and then we can release. ETA right now is undeclared. I found the solution for one of the porblems, DefaultPartiction service failure. Edit your run.sh script as following: 1. Add the following entry before the Jboss specific properties entry: # fix for IPv6 bug (AIX cannot bind a socket to an IPv6 address) JAVA_OPTS1="-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true" 2. Edit the JBoss specific properties entry as following: # Setup JBoss sepecific properties # JAVA_OPTS="-Dprogram.name=$PROGNAME $JAVA_OPTS" JAVA_OPTS="-Dprogram.name=$PROGNAME $JAVA_OPTS $JAVA_OPTS1" Restart the server using this run script. Right, that's one reason why a merge is bad and a clean formation of a cluster is good. Hence the advice to space the startup of the nodes so they cleanly form a cluster should not have been removed from the wiki, and has been restored.
