AFAIK the LoginContext is only created when it is needed for the first time. So unless you start declaring some security constraints on your webapp you will never know whether it works or not. I've committed this to CVS. It would be great if some of you could put it through its paces prior to the 1.1.5 release later this week. It's documented in with the rest of the JSF controls, and is demonstrated in the ui example. You should note that the wiki version is a bit different to the version I've committed - the cache and key attributes have been removed and the converters aren't there (or automatically added). You can use Seam's s:convertEnum converter for enums and the si:convertEntity should work for entities. I'll try to get round to packaging up the si:convertEntity into a seperate package (on the wiki) tomorrow. Hello i have the following problem. In my JBoss exist 2 web application now i would like to include the content from the 1. application into the second. Here a example path: 1. localhost:8080/company_web 2. localhost:8080/company_import <jsp:include page="http://localhost:8080/company_import" flush="true" /> Doesn't work because of the context, is there a solution. [JBoss Seam] - Seam injection doesn't work while testing with testng!

Hi, i've got probably a stupid injection issue but i need a hint: 1. While testing with testng no one Seam component can be injected. However, @EJB components can be! 2. All components seem to be correctly installed/registered during start up 3. Component.getInstance("..") and so on work properly, but i have also @In, @Out POJO injections, which can not be resolved (NullPointerException, because the attributes are nulls) 4. @In, @Out Injection in Servlets works irregularly (is it possible to use Seam within servlet/filter?) I think, it's a configuration problem, but i've checked my config with Seam examples and haven't found any conflicts (btw tomcat deployment works fine except Servlet Injection, which wasn't tested on tomcat) I use the cvs version of Seam from 29.01.2007 Thanks for any help! Thank you guys for the response. I think many seam starters are in my position. who look at seam for seam+jsf+facelets+xhtml development; but get go around the circles trying to workout dev tool that delivers this functionality. I will appreciate more responses from experiences with dev tools in this area. as I understand JBoss recommend above seam+jsf+facelets+xhtml combination; so it will be nice if they can also say ...we recommend this single dev environment or set of tools to develop a solution from start to end....
