[EJB 3.0] - Calling a local 2.x stateless session bean from a remote ejb

Hi, I am currently tinkering with upgrading an existing system to use EJB3 so we can take advantage of the new interceptors in EJB 3. The code which currently exists uses a remote session facade which then delegates off to local session(s) for doing the work. Our first task is to replace the remote facades with EJB 3 versions and then slowly replace the local sessions on a per item basis. This means we can leverage the interceptors to bring in the extra functionality required without the big bang of migrating all the session beans. However, we have successfully packaged up the facades as EJB 3 and split these into their own jar still with in the same EAR. But when we try to perform the lookup to get the local session bean as outlined on http://blogs.sun.com/enterprisetechtips/entry/ejb_3_0_compatibility_and. This fails but if we try to connect to them remotely instead of locally then this works. Is it not possible to use the local 2.X beans with a EJB 3 bean? [JBoss Seam] - Hibernate in Weblogic10 : class not found exception

Hi All, I am using JPA/Hibernate in Weblogic 10. While running the application, I am getting the following exception. Can someone help on this. Exception caught is : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException : org.hibernate.QueryException : ClassNotFoundException : org.hibernate.hql.ast.HqlToken [select p from ParentProfileEntity p where p.email=?1] I am using JBoss's seam framework . [JBoss Tools (users)] - Any maven-ish directory support planned? Team Web-Developmen

Hi, jboss tools in the current release feels very great. In the next two weeks we are going to start developing a new web platform. It would be great to have the facelets/jsf/ features of jboss tools for the view. Is it possible to develop a complete application with jboss tools within a team? You are stuck on the wtp directory structre i think.. What if we would like to use continous integration? Do we have to write an ant script which builds the ear? I dont think this is very easy. In the current state development is cool for a "one man team" but team web development isn't easy to realize i think. Dependency Management becomes an issue too... I use maven since one year and i really would like to continue with it. How would you start a project with jboss tools where 6 persons participates? Thanks for advices. It should go into the root of the EAR where hibernate will pick it up as long as you are using hbm2ddl in create or create-drop I think. You can put a queue and delay on the ajax request, and you can use concurrent request timeouts on conversation scoped components in Seam.
