The solution was the setting in RedHat SELinux. I needed to check the "WWW (HTTP)" option on the Security Level Configuration screen in order to get JBoss to run from desk. Nothing wrong with port 8080 being opened. [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Killing problem in deployment!!!

Hi I an facing a problem in deploying a Tomcat 4 project in JBoss 4.0. This is working Perfectly fine with Tomcat .To deploy in JBOSS4 after creating a war file I Placed it in D:\jboss-4.0.2\server\default\deploy. But when i try to access the projevt by giving url http://localhost:8080/MyProj it gives the error 404 requested resource not available insted if I give the url http://localhost:/MyPro8080/MyProj/MyProj it shows the index page, then after providing the login credentials it prompts an error message "The requested resource (/MyProj/MyProj/ControlServlet) is not available." Please help me to sort this problem out asap as it is really very urgent. Thanks in advance.... I want to deploy ActiveBPEL to my JBoss AS. The ActiveBPEL installation script needs the CATALINA_HOME environment variable to run. Is Tomcat integrated in JBoss AS? If yes, which path do I have to set, to get this working? Or do i need to install Tomcat first? [JBossWS] - Jboss Annotation: WebContext package and JAR location.

Hi All, Quick question: I would like to use WebContext for EJB3. However, it seems like the packaging has changed on this annotation. Under the examples for jbossws-1.2.1GA, I saw the annotation being imported as: org.jboss.ws.annotation.WebContext However, I could not find this anywhere in jbossws-2.0.1GA (I checked through all the JARs). I did find: org.jboss.wsf.spi.annotation.WebContext Is this the same annotation? Can I rely on this to work as the WebContext annotation that was described in the examples? Hi there I'm writing my master thesis about service-oriented architectures. As part of this thesis I want to implement a business-process using JBoss software, but I'm having some problems at configuring the whole environment. I want to use JBoss AS 4.2.1 + JBoss ESB 4.2. + ActiveBPEL + Red Hat Developer Studio. I've already installed AS, but I'm not able to deploy the ESB to the AS. Ant fails with: BUILD FAILED C:\jbossesb-4.2GA\install\build.xml:64: Could not determine JMS provider I took a look at the build.xml and it seems to check if JBoss Messaging is available. I deployed JBoss Messaging to the AS and used the 'messaging' profile for the ESB, but I still get the same error. Why is that? - any help is greatly appreciated! By the way... I already downloaded and installed the RH Developer Studio. If I understand correctly it already contains an JBoss AS, but i want to use my separate AS installation. How can I configure the Developer Studio to use the other installation?
