[JBoss Seam] - Re: nested conversation question

Thanks guys. hstang: I guess I forgot to mention I use Seam 1.2.1... Jacob: the parent of my Home, EntityHome, apparently already defines the @Create annotation, I get a duplicate error when I use that for my own method. The Page scope doesn't work either: the page parameter I use to initiate the id of the Home is loaded the first time, but the second time the parameter of the first time is used (although setId(Object id) IS being called every time, but always with the parameter I used the first time). This is useless, because I need the Home component's instance to be different every time it's being called.. Correction - the contexts would be there, but they will be based on a MockFacesContext, thus being completely useless for email rendering... Application context would be initialized, but since this is an async invocation, there'd be no session or conversation context available (and, most likely, no HttpSession active, either), thus no Seam-email rendering. The HTTP connection settings are in the file server/default/deploy/jbossweb-tomcat55.sar/server.xml. Look for the Connector entry for port 8080. The attributes you want are maxThreads and minSpareThreads. What do you mean by "fully loaded"? Since the startup class in ASavitsky example is managed by Seam, I would assume that by the time execution begins all your contexts will be available to you. [JBoss Seam] - Re: seam converter

Actually, my problem was due to the fact that my converter was not being scanned by seam. Once I got that going everything works as expected...It almost seems like you had similar problem from your earlier posts. Also, you don't have to register the converter in the faces config as suggested in earlier post (that's the whole point of using the Converter annotation). And I'm using seam 1.2.1.GA.
