i went ahead and built it myself from source. However, I had to make the following changes to the build script to get the right MQ classes included.  | |  It appears that these jars redefine some of the classes and do not work at runtime. yes, I am using a 'Set' as my many entity. I will change it to a List and see what happens. the question is should 'datatable' be able to iterate through the 'many' section of the one-to-many relationship ie fields from both tables or should i be using another approach?! thanks again. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Custom Principal classes and EJBContext.getCallerPrincipal()

Hi, I'm creating a custom JAAS authentication module, by extending AbstractServerLoginModule, to integrate in a EJB 3.0 layer. During authentication, I assign objects to the user's Subject that are instances of custom Principal classes I wrote to represent users and roles in my system. It works fine, and I can retrive the authenticated Subject with the right objects by calling SecurityAssociation.getSubject() from my EJB's. However, using injected EJBContext instances, the method getCallerPrincipal() always returns an instance of SimplePrincipal, which contains only the username. Is there a way to get this method to return the same Principal object reference that was assigned to the Subject during authentication? Thanks in advance. Just a hunch here, but is your collection a Set? JSF does not iterate correctly through sets. If you are using a set, try changing it to a List, or creating a transient method that instantiates and returns a new ArrayList constructed from the set. I am also unable to generate-entities with seam 2.0.0.CR2 and postgresql. I have a possible work around for the time being: 1. Create the new project with seam-2.0.0.CR2, 2. Generate the entities with seam-2.0.0.CR1. Appears to work fine after some casual testing. I don't know if there are any changes to the seam-gen jsf facelet templates, so there may be some subtle differences. Hope this helps. Cheers. I tried using wstools to generate the WSDL, and although there were some differences, notably in that wstools split the schema in two and imported one schema into the other, the stack trace upon invocation did not change at all. I did notice that wstools, unlike wscompile, did not create LiteralSerializers and request/response struct classes, but it may just be that I don't have the settings on wstools to keep source artifacts enabled; I'm not sure. What I would really like to know is where it is coming up with the com.liaison.InboundWebService.messageProcessing.Array class reference for which the "No ClassLoaders found" exception is being thrown -- I don't recall ever seeing a wscompile/wstools artifact by that name, nor can I find any such references in any of the generated files. Do you know where that comes from, or why it expects that class to exist? I would think that if I could find that out, it might help find the root cause of the problem. Thanks again for your help. [JBoss Seam] - using a popup window with a dataTable

need to allow user to enter comments per row via a popup modal window. anybody done this and what's the best way to implement? I need to be able to track/store the String they enter for each row in a <h:dataTable>. In this use case, user will be able to enter multiple comments for n rows prior to clicking the submit button. any suggestions? I haven't seen this example in the Seam books or examples from the distro. thx.
