[Security & JAAS/JBoss] - SSO several war in one ear

Hi all, I use JBoss 4.2.0. I have an ear which contains several war. And I want to activate SSO between the multiple webapps. I read some posts on the forum and some interresting links such as the wiki post about SSO : http://www.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=SingleSignOn I made several changes in my configuration in order to activate SSO but I can't find a way to make it work. - I activated the SSO Valve in jboss-web.deployer/server.xml by adding this line : < Valve className="org.jboss.web.tomcat.tc4.authenticator.SingleSignOn" debug="2"/ > - I declared my application-policy in conf/login-config.xml : <application-policy name = "Djoukit"> | <authentication> | <login-module code = "com.djoukit.composant.securite.authentification.spi.DataBaseLoginModule" | flag = "required"> | <module-option name = "dsJndiName">java:/PostgreSqlDS</module-option> | </login-module> | </authentication> | </application-policy> - for each webapp I have a jboss-web.xml file with : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> | <!DOCTYPE jboss-web PUBLIC "-//JBoss//DTD Web Application 2.2//EN" "jboss-web_2_2.dtd" > | <jboss-web> | <security-domain>java:/jaas/Djoukit</security-domain> | </jboss-web> - I also added log on jboss security by modifying the log4j conf This solution didn't work (I wont be posting if it id :)). I don't even get any log in the console showing the work of the SSO Valve. I guess I'm doing something wrong ... [JBoss Seam] - Duplicate Factory for: actor

I am attempting to deploy a SEAM EJB. I continue to get this error: Before this error, I was getting an ClassLoader exception. One of the files in the jboss-seam.jar was not being loaded. I placed the jboss-seam.jar file in the JBoss lib directory and I eliminated that error. Unfortunately I am now getting this error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: duplicate factory for: actor I do not have the JBoss-Seam.jar in the web-inf/lib directory. Only the JBoss deploy lib directory. Any ideas where this error is coming from? Thank you... Hi, It's quite simple. Do something like that. Inside your EntityQuery class declare your restrictions: private String[] restrictions = | {"inidate = #{mybean.date}", "name like upper(#{mybean.name} + '%')" }; and now override getRestrictions() like that: @override | public List<String> getRestrictions() { | return Arrays.asList(restrictions); | } Please forgive me if I wrote some declaration wrong, but it's all I can remember up to now. I think jasperreports is a good choice for everyone ... It creates PDF, CVS, XLS, etc. from one template ;) Report-Templating is easy using iReports ... [JBoss Seam] - EntityQuery - Restrictions usage query!

Hi, Im have my pojo extend "EntityQuery" class and would like to include restrictions in my query; I see, I could override the method getRestrictions but havent found examples of doing that (seam-2.0.0.BETA1). Can you throw some light on the usage of restrictions by overriding getRestrictions? It answers also to the thread "messageformat error blows up (JBSEAM-1859)" http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=117235 May I suggest that, in place of the partial result of interpolation, the wrong message is also shown to the user by returning it in the catch block: | log.warn("exception interpolating string: " + string, e); | return string; | It gives then a direct clue that something is wrong. Does seam-gen even work with many-to-many relationships? It uses Hibernate Tools for reverse engineering, and that has a major problem where many-to-many relationships either completely don't work (if using EJB annotations) or default to read-only (if using XML mapping files; no inverse="true" is added on either side of relationships).
