Per the BPEL specification, only the partner role of a partner link can be assigned a new address dynamically. Try the following: <assign> | <copy> | <from variable="msg" part="reference"> | <to partnerLink="pl"> | </copy> | </assign> The information item returned by from must have a supported service reference type. Currently, the product supports wsa:EndpointReferenceType and wsdl:tService. If you have a BPEL 2 process, the type can also be bpel:ServiceRefType. Zazzaz, After an examination of the stack trace you posted, the error occurs inside the SAAJ implementation (JBossWS) not in jBPM BPEL code. I'd like to determine why JBossWS malfunctions when the sopaAction attribute is not present. Which JBoss AS version are you using? [JBoss Seam] - Dependencies for a SEAM application targetted to Glassfish

Hi, I am using Seam 2.0 CR3. While the documentation does a good job of listing the dependencies, I am still puzzled by the dependencies required for building and running a SEAM ear of Glassfish e.g once I have built the booking sample shipped with the distribution, I find that it packages lot many more jars. eg. in the lib directory at ear level, I see : antlr.jar cglib.jar commons-beanutils.jar commons-beanutils.jar commons-digester.jar commons-logging.jar dom4j.jar hibernate.jar hibernate-annotations.jar hibernate-commons-annotations.jar hibernate-entitymanager.jar hibernate-validator.jar javassist.jar jboss-archive-browsing.jar jboss-common-core.jar jboss-el.jar log4j.jar richfaces-api.jar Going by the documentation on project dependencies, I can understand richfaces-api.jar, but about others I am totally confused. Either the documentation is missing something or the sample needs to be updated. Can somebody please help me with this. [EJB 3.0] - simple lazy loading question

I have a query - the showplan shows no table scan - but the entity bean for the query has 6 clobs and 6 on-to-one relationships (legacy datamodel). My query takes a long time to run despite being fully indexed. HOWEVER, when I run it for just a small set of fields needed for the current form it comes back very quickly - How do I get this quick query to populate the entity bean for the table, yet still be able to load the other entity bean fields later as needed - I was thinking lazy loading, but dont know how - Is that the right approach? [JBoss Seam] - EL silent failure:

If a bean name is referenced in EL that does not exist, it is silently ignored. Is there a way to configure the EL resolver to throw and exception in this case? (An exception is thrown when a property of a bean is not found, but not when the root bean name itself is not found). I am using Seam 1.2.1 and whatever EL resolver comes with that. I notice that in Seam 2.0.0.CR3, jboss-el.jar is used. Is there documentation somewhere for this EL implementation? to answer as short as possible? ...yes! Nearly one year ago we compared JBP against jetspeed2 and liferay on behalf of our customer. Disappointed about liferays design and (professional support - they didn't find answer within one month) in contrast to the clearly structured design of JBP we decided to customize JBP for our customers needs. Yes, a group feature is currently missing but it's being discussed already by the portal team... For our needs we have improved JBP 2.4 by that feature and provided it in jira. In contrast to liferay extending the portals core was more or less straight-forward...! Attaching AD to the portal has been discussed in detail in this forum, a wiki page should be available... just search for it. Our decision for JBP wasn't driven by a quick setup only but for a sophisticated core design, extensibility, intuitive understanding and last but not least the support of the portal team within this forum...
