Hi cyclops49, Can you please send me the steps that you followed to set up IIS-JBoss redirection using mod_jk OR point me to a "How TO" document/site? I am using JBoss 3.2.7 on Windows 2003 Server running IIS v6.0. I can switch to a later version of JBoss if that becomes an issue. Thanks. Hmm, I'm looking at the messages in the JMX Console and they all have a priority of 4 so it seems that setJMSPriority is not actually setting the priority. I debugged the code and maybe somebody from AOP team can explain: [AOP version: jboss-aop_1.5.5.GA] Here is the chain of calls that throws RuntimeException -> AspectDeployer.stop(DeploymentInfo) line:241 -> AspectXmlLoader.bulkUndeploy() line: 1355 -> AspectManager.removeBindings(ArrayList) -> ClassAdvisor.removeAdviceBindings(ArrayList) -> ClassAdvisor.rebuildInterceptors() line 974 -> ClassAdvisor.createInterceptorChains() line 607 -> ClassAdvisor(Advisor).resolveMethodPointcut(HashMap, AdviceBinding) -> .... -> ClassAdvisor(Advisor).hasAnnotation(Method, String) line: 392 at this point the class has been undeployed in 'ha-singleton' directory and AOP throws java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: javassist.NotFoundException: .... Why does AOP need to rebuild Interceptors during/after undeployment ??!! [Messaging, JMS & JBossMQ] - Does setJMSPriority() actually do anything?

JBoss 4.2.1.GA with JBossMQ. I have a stateless session bean that puts a bunch of messages on the JMS queue. It is setting the priority of each message (setJMSPriority) to various ints from 0-10. However, the consumer of the message is getting the messages in the same order that they are put on the queue regardless of priority. Am I missing something here? Shouldn't the higher priority messages come off the queue first? One other item - CAS SSO server should be deployed standalone in a separate server. Your Seam app (or any app) typically should not be presenting its own login page in a CAS SSO architecture. In other words, there shouldn't be any concept of a 'login.xhtml' in your CAS-adapted Seam application. Set the maxThreads for the HTTP connector to 10, and the acceptCount to 0. You can set this in server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/server.xml. (You never said which version of JBoss AS you are using so I assumed 4.2.1 - the server.xml file tends to move around from release to release.) I use CAS and I have this working. You may want to review this thread http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=119167. I use a different approach than the CAS Filter for authentication, but the process should be the same because by the time Seam steps in to the request processing cycle, your CAS Filter should already have authenticated the user (with the user-Principal being available in the HttpServletRequest - request.getUserPrincipal()).
