[Beginners Corner] - Dependencies between MBeans and datasources

I use multiple datasources defined in a *-ds.xml file. I have quite a few mbeans that depend on these datasources. Instead of writing a depends-list for each mbean, I would like the dependency to be written once. For this reason, I created an mbean (I call it DataSourceInitializer) that using depends-list, depends on all the datasources. Any mbean that requires all the datasources depends on the DataSourceInitializer. (This way if I change the list of datasources, I change it in only one place) A) Is there a better way to do this? [JBoss Seam] - testing dataTable

I am trying to test dataTable. I can get/set data row using the list index. I am having a problem to pass an argument to a function: | @Override | protected void updateModelValues() throws Exception { | setValue("#{administration.allProfils[0].lic}", "FOO"); | } | @Override | protected void invokeApplication() throws Exception { | invokeMethod("#{administration.modifProfil(administration.allProfils[0])}"); | } | When debugging this code I can see profil.lic being set to FOO but a different object is pass to the modifProfil function, and profil.lic got its original value. Could anyone got this to work ? Actually, I would like to do something like this: <h:dataTable value="#{hotel.rooms}" var="room"> | <h:column> | <h:outputText value="#{room.number}" /> | </h:column> | </h:dataTable> but it is not working. The problem is, that if I would outject list "rooms", and use <h:dataTable value="#{rooms}" var="room"> it would work, but the version with "hotel.rooms" is not working. I don't know if I'm using JBoss EL (I am using templates generated by seam-gen). My environment: JBoss AS 4.0.5, JBoss Seam 1.2.1.
