Apparently I started one of my nodes the first time before I set the clustered flag in the queue definition because when I looked at the jbm_postoffice records one node had clustered set to false. By deleting the records then restarting the queue is set to clustered and it appears that everything is working as expected. I guess changing that flag after a queue has been established does not have any effect. Go to Run > Hibernate code Generation and select the "yourproject-generate-entities" configuration. go to exporters and remove the hbm2java/.java exporter. btw. [JBoss Seam] - Workspace

I have a POJO with a method annotated with @Begin. The conversation gets started but switcher.seletectItems is empty. Nothing gets displayed. The example application(issues) in seam 1.2.1 uses ejb. But I am using managed bean, a seam component with annotations @Name("sampleBean") @Scope(ScopeType.CONVERSATION) and a method @Begin(join=true) public void editAction() Do I need to use an ejb to get the workspace to work? [JBoss Tools (users)] - Problem controlling and deploying to JBoss AS

Hi! I'm trying to deploy an Eclipse project to JBoss AS 4.2 via the JBoss Tools 2.0 nightly build (2007-11-19). I have created a WAR file via the "Project Archives" view and the WAR file appears in the workspace. Now I'm trying to deploy it, so I configured and started the server, and then I right-clicked on the generated WAR and chose "Deploy to server". But nothing happens. If I right-click on the server and go to "Add and Remove projects", I can see the WAR file there under configured projects, but it doesn't appear to be deployed. I tried removing it, republishing, and even cleaning, but no luck. The server status always says "Republish". I don't know if this is related or not, but I'm also unable to shutdown the server. It fails with a communication error. I am guessing this is because I am using port 1299 for JNDI instead of the default 1099. With JBoss-IDE 1.6, I used to see "Stop args" or "Twiddle args" in the server launch configuration, which would let me specify a different port, but I don't see those options in JBoss Tools 2.0. Any help with either of these issues is greatly appreciated! Thanks! I meant consumtion of the process. What kind of client do you use?? An axis client, a generic soap client, a visual basic client... Looking in the logs I see the excepcion in the soap request handler, so maybe a problem with the soap request message of your client. Is only a theory, :). Stopping destinations and getting clients to reconnect is an unsupported feature in JBossMQ. There is no mechanism to push the error to the client. One way to solve the problem (though it isn't very good) would be to close all connections that have active receivers (subscribers not receivers in BasicQueue) on the destination. This would cause the ExceptionListener to fire due to the lost connection. But this isn't implemented. [JBoss Seam] - Observer issues - multiple calls + async

I've just implemented the Manager Component pattern as outlined in the docs using @Unwrap and @Observer and it's working a treat. Two small issues with it though: 1. When using incremental hot deploy (ie. WEB-INF/dev) the Event is fired as many times as it's been since you last did a full deploy. For instance, if I start up my server and cause an event to fire, do an incremental hot deploy, cause the event to fire again; Then I will get the event firing twice on the second fire. If I do a full undeploy/redeploy it 'resets' the number of times it fires and all is good. 2. Can @Observer be used with @Asynchronous? I've tried but I get the following exception: | Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: java.util.ArrayList.rebuildTradeRoute() | at java.lang.Class.getMethod(Class.java:1581) | at org.jboss.seam.async.AsynchronousInvocation.call(AsynchronousInvocation.java:45) If I remove the @Async then it's fine.
