It's hard to say what is causing this and whether it is a jbossws or jboss seam issue; could you please give us some more details? what are you doing to "clean"? Are there any error or warning in the log during the AS startup? Does this affect also other ws project (without seam)? which version of JBossAS, JBossSeam and JBossWS are you using? Thanks for your answer peter, I will try that. One remark though: For all I found out, this seems to happen when a conversation runs out of scope, after a file was uploaded (and hasn't been processed yet). Is it possible that the serializer crashes on the 'stale' uploaded file(pointer)? And how should I debug/check this? to get EntityManager you have to use EntityManager em=(EntityManager)Component.getInstance("entitymanagername") but to access EM you have to configure components.xml first. Until you got JEE5 app server anotations may not work. I dont have config files. I will post my configuration files couple hours later. I'm pretty sure that you won't be able to do this with ajax4jsf as it is now. No ajax component will be able to perform a direct file upload as javascript doesn't have access to the file system. I could be wrong on this as there is a plethora of ajax upload widgets around the web, however these all seem to be based around hidden iFrames (which ajax4jsf isn't) that utilise hidden input tags that are submitted in the background. I had the same Problem, We have some Data in a Domino Database. For access, I used the Domino ODBC Driver, and the Java ODBC-JDBC Bridge. It worked realy good. After that I could access the Domino Database the same way I accessed any other JDBC Database. Hope it helps.
