yes, you have to manually bind beans to the env. you can accomplish this by using ejb-jar.xml and jboss.xml descriptors. The styles are hardcoded in debug.xhtml. I think your only option is to update that file in your jboss-seam-debug.xhtml. Sorry. There are no plans for JSP support for those things. It's not inconceivable that we would add support, but it's not on the roadmap. I understand your concerns about Facelets, but you should really give it a try. I'm normally all for sticking to standards, but Facelets is so much better that it's almost impossible to not choose it. Hot deploy is only for seam components. Things that need to be visible to the container directly (ejb, servlets, etc...) cannot be hot deployed. [EJB 3.0] - BatchUpdateException when removing a entity with a ManyToMan

Hi there, I am getting BatchUpdateException when removing entities related to others by a ManyToMany association. Hibernate creates the link table with foreign keys and they make that BatchUpdateException to be thrown (I like tables to have foreign keys, of course). I've tried to add a REMOVE cascade, but that makes the end entity to be also removed (for example, removing a UserRole entity removes related User, while only should remove the entry in the intermediate link table. My question is... do I have to remove that relation in target entities before removing the related entity or there is a way to make JBoss/Hibernate to do some intermediate table cascading to remove the relation and avoiding BatchUpdateException? In case anyone was listening, I found the solution to my problem. When Flash loads a file over SSL in IE and the Response has the Pragma no-cache header, Flash will not receive the Response. For some reason, IE won't forward it on. I removed the Pragma no-cache header and my downloads started working.
