[Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - Trying to set connection.setReadOnly(true) using Hibernate E

I'm using the MySql Connect/J ReplicationDriver to connect to my MySql master and slave databases. I modified my -ds.xml file to use the ReplicationDriver and have both the master and slave in the connection-url. It starts up fine but when I try to make a query go to the slave it throws an error: You cannot set read only during a managed transaction! The code snippet is inside a stateless bean: .... HibernateSession hs = (HibernateSession) em; Session session = hs.getHibernateSession(); session.connection().setReadOnly(true); Query q = em.createQuery(query); .... I'm not sure this is the correct way to set the connection to read only when using EntityManager but I can't see any other way via annotations or other settings. Is there any way to get the query to be sent to the slave? Use two entitymanagers with different ds? [JBoss jBPM] - task priority of tasks in task-node

Hi, A task-node can have one or more tasks. My question: Is there an order which task should be first or last executed? In which order are the tasks executed? I see in the doc, a task can have a "priority" property with "highest,high, normal,low. lowest". I defined a test process definition, which has 2 tasks in a task-node. And I set task1 with prioirty "high" and task2 with "normal". Although, the task2 can be excuted before task1. Do I understand the priority of task wrong? [JBoss Tools (users)] - First steps with Seam using JBoss tools

Hi all, I've got Eclipse 3.3 with WTP 2.0 and JBoss Tools 2.0.0.GA installed on my 32-bit Ubuntu 7.04 machine. I've also set up jboss 4.0.5 with the jems installer using the non-clustered ejb3 profile and jboss-seam-1.2.1.GA. I used seam-gen to validate the jboss runtime by creating a project with 'seam setup', then 'seam new-project' and finally 'seam explode'. I get the sample application running with absolutely no problems. Now, I want to use Eclipse and JBoss Tools to work on the generated sample. I tried the following: 1) Importing the project into Eclipse with "File-> Import -> General -> Existing Projects into Workspace". This seems to work, but it does not add/detect the "Seam Web Project" nature. As a result, I can only use the Ant view to compile/explode the project and can not use "Add and Remove Projects..." to add the project to the JBoss Server instance I have in the IDE. Of course, the project is deployed by the ant script and I can run it, but I want to use the full integration. 2) Create the sample from scratch, from within Eclipse with "File -> New -> Seam Web Project". I use the same 4.0 server runtime which I know that works, and the "Dynamic Web Project with Seam 1.2" configuration (with no modifications). I change nothing in the defaults of the wizard, except create an HSQL database connection profile (otherwise the wizard will not complete). Hello, I am beginner on the jboss using and setting. I would like to know if it's possible to configure jboss in order to not deploy some directories or some files (example with the extension .html or .doc). For example : i have an application deployed under this directory ../jboss/..../deploy/.../access/ but in access ,I have one directory (../jboss/..../deploy/.../access/docFiles) where i put some doc files and the number of theses files are more than 10000. I would like to know if i can exclude this directory from the scanning of jboss when it starts because jboss start in more than 20 minutes. When this directory was empty,it started with only 30 seconds. [JBossWS] - Memory leak in JBossWS 2.0.1 native and JBoss 4.2.1

We expose a Webservice by means of a stateless session EJB3. After a huge amount of requests we encountered a out of heap memory. We analysed the problem with the aid of a Java profiler and found, that the instance count for classes like org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.binding.SOAPBindingJAXWS or org.jboss.ws.core.CommonBindingProvider increases by 1 per request. The same problem occured with JBossWS 1.2.1 and JBoss 4.0.5. Our first approach was to find a patch. Google told us of an issue JBWS-1860 that described our problem, but this issue seems to be disappeared on JIRA. Is there any solution to this problem?
