Is the key id of your entity bean an object e.g. of type Long? If so, maybe it helps when you overwrite the equals and hashCode method in the entity class. This was the only thing that helped me (under 2.0.0.CR3) when I used s:convertEntity to assign the selected item to the object in the list. [JBoss Portal] - Problem with jBPM libraries in Portal and Seam

Hi everybody, after the news that Seam 2 is functioning with the JBoss Portal, I just made a test against 2.6.3. Only thing I made complexer then the example is to use the pageflow instead of normal JSF navigation and that is the thing hurt me. It looks like there is a dependency at portal.sar (in the lib directory) to jBPM. It looks like a really old version of the library. I try to replace the jBPM with in portal.sar with 3.2.1 but that break something in the JBoss Portal. With old version in place, I am getting this exception, Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.jbpm.jpdl.el.i pdl/el/ExpressionEvaluator;)V at org.jboss.seam.bpm.Jbpm.startup(Jbpm.java:76) Is it possible to update this libraries or is there way to make sure it would not collide the version I have in my EAR archive. Hello Friends, I have added user as an Actor for tasks so that this process get authorised to that user. Now I have another problem. In my process, Employee user enter form data and click on "Save" button. Supervisor should able to Approve/Reject it. So process like create form -> Review I have set Review task for supervisor actor. When i log in as Supervisor role,i can see Approve/Reject buttons. But when i log in as employee role, i still see Approve/Reject buttons. So in this case security fails. What should i do so that supervisor only able to approve/reject process. Thanks. swisst, I'll have to update the wiki entry to reflect your findings. I'm not sure why this didn't show up for me until now, I guess it has to do that I never tested with an "admin but not member of special admin group" user. Anyway, I think the wiki entry needs to be reorganised, it's getting too cluttered. I'll get to it soon. As for the reason for all of this: The main change that was implemented for 2.6.3 is that the admin user/group is now configurable, instead of being hardcoded in and cluttered throughout the source. The need for (not) having a special admin user/group has not been addressed so far. [JBoss jBPM] - Adding New User Problem

Hello All, I have created one process. I need to assign some tasks to some users. I am facing following problem. How can i add new user and give access to this process. I tried to add user from manager login but when new user tries to login it throws "Access to the requested resource has been denied" error message. I am adding supervisor user and added in "manager" role along with "user" role. but its now working at all. how can i add new user in JBPM. Thanks.
