[JBoss Seam] - Re: Null Pointer Exception During Integration Testing

I am not sure what sort of output you mean. I have checked the TestNG documentation, and there does not seem to be any specialized logging besides writing my own custom TestListenerAdapter. I was actually just about to ask if there is a way to determine what Seam is looking for from the ServletApplicationMap. I tried setting all the logging levels in log4j.xml in the bootstrap folder to the level of DEBUG, and I ran Ant in -verbose mode. I am still not getting any useful information. All I have so far is this: | DEBUG [model.test.SearchActionAdvancedTest] Starting method testSearchActionComponent | DEBUG [org.jboss.seam.contexts.TestLifecycle] >>> Begin test | DEBUG [org.jboss.seam.contexts.TestLifecycle] <<< End test | Obviously, that isn't much. Let me know how to add more logging beyond the measures I have described already, and I will be sure to provide that output as soon as possible. Thanks. Well, if you're still listening on my port... I did not uninstall Norton (too scary), but I'm now getting the "successful" response to your command: telnet localhost 1099 This is with Norton actually on, doing all it's regular things. However, I'm still getting the original response when I try to run my "Hello World" application. Would you have another suggestion for that? Again, I'm very much a newbie. I'm not even sure I should be running the "Client" using "Run as...Java Application". I really hope you're still listening. Any more help you could give me would be greatly appreciated ! [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Can I create a login .war module that my other .war modules

I have a created a custom login module to authenticate against our domino server. Rather than have to (redundant) setup security in each and every web module, can I just deploy the login functionality as a stand-alone web module that my other web modules leverage? Tina, I'm guessing you downloaded JBoss AS 4.2.0 or later, which is not compatible with jBPM BPEL 1.1.Beta3. I'd suggest to upgrade to the newly released jBPM BPEL 1.1.GA. If you care about the details, version 1.1.Beta3 was written against version 1.4 of WSDL4J. This is the WSDL4J version included with JBoss AS 4.0.5. In JBoss AS 4.2.0 and later, WSDL4J was upgraded to version 1.6. Among other changes, method close() was added to interface javax.wsdl.xml.WSDLLocator. This change broke jBPM BPEL 1.1.Beta3 because class org.jbpm.bpel.xml.ArchiveWsdlLocator no longer implemented all methods of the previously mentioned interface. We prefer to have a common mechanism for Persistence Context within a project. The reasons we think SMPC is a better choice is based on all the points provided in the Seam reference manual section 8.3. There is also a good detailed post in a "ManagedPersistenceContext in Manning JPA book" thread in this forum. Is it OK to change the default scope of the SMPC component to session scope? Can the above SMPC be used for conversations?
